Chapter 6 Part 4 Determination
Chapter 6 Part 4 Determination

I waited slowly for this guy to strike, but he just stood there.
“Now how do I want to do this?”
My hand met my forehead fast.
“Hey, lets make some conditions to this fight.” Was he serious?
“Okay, how about you don’t fight me and let’s just say you won.”
He tried to punch me, but I dodged last second.
“Nice try, but I fight to prove I am the best.”
I sighed, “Fine, how about if I win, you stop trying to kill me, but if you win, I’ll go quietly if you haven’t kill me.”
He looked like he was deep in thought. He then started pacing around adjusting his gi, gloves and headband.
“Well?” I asked.
“Oh right, yes, we have a deal.” He stuck out his hand to shake.
“Oh no, I am not going to fall for that old trick.”
“Sharp,” he said, “I like it.”
“Can we go to the deck first?” I asked.
“Fine.”
We walked towards the deck, I with my blades and him with his fist.
We stood and looked into each other’s eyes waiting for the other to make the first move.
People started to gathered and wonder what we were doing. I took quick glances to know where not to go so he doesn’t hurt others.
I have no idea how he knew I wasn’t paying attention to him and he came charging at me in punched me right in the gut.
I was sent flying to the bow of the ship and almost fell overboard.
“Oh come on is that all? How did you beat half of the Leaders anyway?”
I pulled myself up and he came straight at me again. This time I manage to dodge and he manage to stop before reaching the end of the boat. He turned around and managed to kick me on the return.
I flew into the pilothouse and the wheelman was stunned to see me.
“Carry on.” I said as I jumped back out.
I drew my swords and made an attempt to cut off his hands, but when my blade connected with his arm not only did it not cut, but he managed to push me back as well.
“How?”
“You don’t need to know.” He continued his barrage of attacks; I just started to block them with my blades.
I dash off and he began to chase me knocking anything in his way.
As we rushed through the ship, going from room to room, he destroyed anything in his way including a stove, a few restaurant tables, a chandelier, and many doors, beds, and even the Captain’s room a bit.
Meanwhile, I was busy making sure no one got hurt. I manage to knock flying chucks coming towards people, but it didn’t help he kept chasing me.
After a while, I looked back at the person who was fighting me and realized he looked bigger than normal.
Than the more I thought about it I realizes despite have been hit by many blunt and/or sharp object he has yet lost any blood nor has had a wound anywhere on his body.
I got close to him and barely dodged him and noticed every time he missed, his muscle slowly got bigger and bigger.
“What are you?” I asked again.
“Shut up, you’ll know after death.” He exclaimed.
His tone started to sound wilder like Lesth did when he was losing, only I am losing in this situation.
Then it all clicked.
“You are some mix between goblin and trolls aren’t you?”
“Pah, who cares, just as long as you’re beaten.”
It made sense for Trolls were naturally strong and got stronger when they were deprived of something as well as having skin rougher than stone, but very slow and dull so they never realized their full potential.
That’s where the Goblin kicks in, they were known for their cunning tricks, extreme flexibility, and speed.
This guy was the perfect mix of both for he had the body of a troll, but the mind of a goblin, but why did he look so human?
He soon began increase in power and speed.
“I’ll show you I am the best and that your just another poser.”
Ouch, that damaged my pride a little.
We continue fighting till we burst upwards right back on the deck.
“I must say you fight pretty fairly for a goblin.”
“Shut it!” I dodged that punch and it shattered the pillar behind me.
“I will never accept that part of my family, they have no honor. I will prove that I am the best without the need of stupid tricks.”
“Will you just tell me what blood you possess in you?” I asked.
“Fine, if it will make you focus, I am half human with a quarter of troll and goblin.”
“Ahh, so why do you have so much honor?”
“I think it was the human half in me, there was something despicable of my goblin heritage so I vowed to prove myself with the need of tricks.”
“Then why don’t you join our side?”
“I fight the best which is currently the Tyrants and you, so let’s end this.”
“Lets.” I agreed.
He came roaring at me sending all of his energy to that last punch.
I had to time this carefully or I’d die.
I used my swords to block the attack by mixing barrier magic into them.
The barriers began to crack, but I manage to stop before I fell off the bow again.
In the instants he stopped, I quickly kicked him off his feet and into the air and forced him to land in the water. Trolls were known for their inability to float in water, so feeling bad, I tossed him a life preserver.
“That was cheep.” He called out shrinking back to normal.
“Sorry, but I’d like to think of it as strategy.”
“The fight isn’t over, I want a rematch.” He shouted.
“Fine, but let’s wait till Navimle falls deal?”
“Fine, we’ll meet again.” Before he left, I asked him to help a small village in Africa telling that Nobody sent him. He agreed.
Now balancing, he swam in the opposite direction of the boat, but then the boat stop and someone tapped my shoulder. I turned to see the captain with all the gold in his hands.
“We need to turn to fix the ship, but we ask you to leave when we land. Here is your money back.” He handed the gold, but I decided to make a deal.
“How about this, Captain? You return half the gold and keep the other half to fix your ship, but in exchange give me 3-4 days worth of food and water as well as a boat and I’ll be out of your hairs.”
“Deal!” he said immediately, “but you can’t hope to reach Australia in a few days, it takes a week and a half to get there.”
“Trust me, I have the elements on my side.”
He nodded and in half an hour, he set back to shore while I sailed with the element pointing towards the still rising sun in the direction of the next place.
Slowly as the boat rocked gently against the waves as the winds pushed me east, I feel asleep waiting for my next stop in this strange life.
