After a few moments of staring at the door, I decided to get my lazy bum out of bed and try to find something, anything to wear.
The wood floor was cold against the soles of my feet as I swung my legs over the side of the old-fashioned bed. The wind hit my bare skin with a rush of sun-warmed air that came through the windows, causing a large shiver to run down my spine, making my body visibly shake. Couldn't they at least have given me a very long shirt I could wear or something? I sighed, holding my head gently.
At least the head ache was getting better...
I basically slid across the hard wood floor, since it was incredibly smooth and there weren't many rugs or carpets around to step on. I almost slipped a few times, but I caught myself. But the longer I stood upright, the less my head hurt.
God my head felt so weird...
Port Royal...why does that sound so falmiliar...? I thought, walking over to the table to look over what was on it. A feather pen and a bottle of ink that reminded my of both history class and the time a friend of mine dyed a white feather green for custom reasons. I picked up the quill pen and turned it around in my hand. The tip of it was back with ink, as if it was used and not meant for just show. I placed in on top on the ink bottle as I spied a folded piece of fabric with a note on it. I picked the note up and read it.
Hey,
Your probably wondering if there's anything to wear around here since I'm currently not done with your new outfit. And since the guys probably didn't point this out, I thought that I'd point this out.
Go ahead and barrow it.
The note was not signed, but whoever wrote it had good handwriting...except for the 'I''s.
I looked at the bundle a fabric the after putting the note down, picked it up. It unfolded and became a dress.
I winced.

The dress was...not as bad as I thought it was.
The fabric of the dress was made of music scores. Real, honest to god, music scores. Well, music scores glued to a black somewhat poofy dress, but you couldn't see it unless you were the one wearing it. The skirt wasn't very poofy, but it had a slight poof that made the skirt not exactly straight like a pencil. Other then that, the top of the dress was pretty much a black vest and a red bodice.
I didn't really know how I looked in it since there was no mirror, but I guess I looked okay. I ran the brush I found on the table through my green hair a few times before leaving the room all together.
I had found my lime green converses and was currently wearing them without any socks.

I could hear the voices of the others before I had even reached the stairs.
"Are you sure she was awake, Sora?"
"Yeah."
I recognized the voices of Riku and Sora, and I was pretty sure they were talking about me. However, a third voice chimed in that I did not recognize.
"You didn't tell her where some clothes were, did you," The voice was that of a female, and she was making a statement, not asking a question.
"Er...yeah..." The nervousness in his voice was clear.
There was a sigh in the same female voice. The same sigh that went with an eye-roll.
I walked down the stairs, making a point to make my footsteps as load as possible. My plan worked, because they all stopped talking. Leave it to me to save Sora from the earful he would have got from Riku about telling people where clothes were...Or at least, she thought he would give him an earful about it.
Correction: She wished he would get an earful about it.
I came to the door of what looked like a kitchen. There was a stove and fireplace. No fridge, but whatever. At the table in the middle of the room sat Riku and Sora. They looked up at me as I came into the room. Mostly, they were looking at my dress. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw another person with hair that went from brown, to light red, to dark red in color. Even though it was truthfully shorter then Riku and Sora's hair. Was this the female voice I heard....?
I turned to look back at the two guys. "Y'know, you two really suck."
The stranger laughed at that, turning around to look at us. The corner's of Riku's mouth twitched and Sora rubbed that back of his head and gave an apologetic smile in my direction.
The stranger kinda looked like a guy. Like if she hadn't said anything, I would have thought that she was a guy. She wore pale blue pin-striped pants and a tight fitting dress shirt with a patched vest over it. Honestly, she made a pretty cute guy, too.
"So, I'm guessing you got my note then," She said, smirking slightly.
"Yeah, thanks a bunch!" I smiled at her. "This dress is really cool. Normally I wouldn't wear one, but this...is awesome!"
"Ha ha, good to know! I made it myself."
"Seriously?"
"Hell. Yeah."
We grinned at each other for such a long moment that Riku had to cough to get our attention. "Alex, this is Tyler. She's a good friend of ours," Riku said, nodding at her.
"Oh yeah, is she the one with the gummi ship you use when Sora crashes yours?"
"I never said I was the one that crashed it!" Sora whined, shifting slightly.
"Damn right, I'm also the one making your new outfit. That's why I'm glad you like the dress," She nodded to herself.
I think my eyes became as wide as dinner plates, because then Tyler chuckled, "No, it's not a dress. Where your gonna go, a dress would suck."
I sighed with relief and sat down in a chair at the table.
After a few moments of deafening silence, Riku turned to me and said, "Your probably wondering what's going on."
It wasn't a question, but I nodded.
Riku cracked his knuckles, "Alright then. I'll explain this now and you can ask questions after, but before I tell you anything I have to tell you that...We're sorry."
I tilted my head to the side, "Sorry? How come?"
"Because we got you into this. Your life will never be normal after this, Sora and I know this better then anyone, but after those weapons appeared, we had no choice but to get you to be on our team. We need the power," He looked at me, but with those eyes it felt like he was looking right through me.
"What do you know about darkness, Alex...?"
