Why Can't I fly? Why do I have to settle for earthbound dreams of the Sky? Why can't I dance among the clouds, and play with the avians that soar above me now? I want to race with the winds, and have the tears that come to my eyes be from joy not longing! Why can't I touch the Sky and let him embrace me? I love him more than he can ever know! Why must I be love him so, when Sky be the only one Earth can never touch?
Earth and Sky, I stand between you, a titan, borne from when you two first touched. You push against me from both sides, Intent pure but putting me in Agony! I am Atlas and I hold the weight of the world, keeping earth and Sky from destroying each other in becoming one as they strive to! I hold more than the world, but the guilt of seeing you two in longing agony and duty to those who dwell in both the land and sky. I am your link your protector, and the love poured to each other through me gives me the strength to Carry it all.
