A Darklight Christmas Tale:Santa Comes to Gaia
We all know that Christmas only comes once a year. It is a holiday where spending time with others and trading gifts from the heart is the most important part of this special day. Gaia was about to spend its 2009 Christmas event. It was the first week of December and people everywhere were walking around with smiles on their faces whenever they won something or got a Christmas greeting from friends and family. Most Gaians were busy making Christmas lists and opening up their mini shops in the marketplace, others were Hanging around the Chatterbox station earning last minute gold and hoping with all their might that they would get special donations to help achieve their Christmas dreams.
Hey, wait just a second! What about the poor people? What about all those people who had to move to Gaia with very little or nothing at all? What about the people who got robbed while they were sleeping or out of town? Do you think they will get gifts too? Very few Gaians would stop along side of the road to hear them out, to give them their full generousity and give them something, anything, even a Christmas card if they could not afford anything either, but there wasn't enough generosity to go around. Those people had lost their hope, and found it hard to believe that they would achieve their Christmas dreams.
However, there were some that believed that miracles could happen. With all their hearts they never gave up on what they loved, and no matter what their dreams were, they remembered that if you have a friend, or some kind of family, It was all they ever needed. What they didn't know was that somewhere far, far away from the world of Gaia was the Christmas star where Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and their hard working crew of elves lived with the magical talking Reindeer Unicorns. Yes, they were magical talking Reindeer Unicorns that were very loyal and trusting friends of Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
They lived in a Crystal-like Castle on North Pole Hill in Christmas Land. Santa was sitting in his cozy red and white living room chair Looking over the list of good boys and girls when Mrs. Claus came into the room with a note in her hand and a worried expression on her face.
"Do you have a moment dear?" she asked, and when he didn't look up from his list added, "It's Important, it’s about this world called Gaia-online."
"What could possibly be important about Gaia?" he gave her a questioning look.
"Well, Santa, many poor children are going to celebrate Christmas without gifts, and we only have enough gifts for earth. What are we going to do dear?" She handed him the note she got from the Ruler of Gaia Lanzer.
"Well, it looks like i'll just have to have a chat with Lanzer and help make these people of Gaia happy."
Santa smiled as he stood up to give her a kiss on the cheek and left to visit the elves and the Reindeer unicorns to tell them of this big news. Meanwhile, Lanzer was constantly working with his team to help cheer up the people of Gaia with his Christmas Event. He went to the center of towns to Announce to everyone His about his Christmas gift to Gaia.
"Gather around people, gather around. i Got big news to all of you. Please don't cry, please don't shout, believe it or not, Santa Claus is coming!"
Someone from the crowd shouted her question, "To Gaia?"
Lanzer Smiled, "Yes to Gaia Online!"
All the poor people and the people who believed him Cheered, and laughed and the children played in the snow happily as they were. Christmas was going to be saved after all.
Weeks later, The night before Christmas Santa had gotten in his Sleigh and was about to take off for a night of busy Christmas Gifting to all of the Milky-Way Galaxy, even the aliens were going to get presents.
"Alright honey, remember to call me if anything goes wrong." Mrs. Claus told her husband.
"No worries Jessica my dear, I'm sure everything will be fine, but yes i will call you with the homemade Cookie phone you gave me last year."
He gave her a light hug, and when the elves had finished packing the gifts in his big red sack that sat in the back of the sleigh, called on the reindeer unicorns and left the Christmas star to start his amazing Journey across Space slipping down every chimney, sweeping through every UFO until he reached Gaia Online.
Lancer was in his study sighing over his paperwork and messages he got from everyone who told him he was a liar and that Santa was never going to come. He kept glancing at the clock that read 11:50 p.m just minutes away from midnight. Until finally there was a light knock on His door and the sound of Christmas jingle bells, just outside the office. He quickly zoomed to his window and peaked out, sure enough it was Santa Claus, two of his elf helpers and all of the reindeer unicorns and Santa's Sleigh. A smile creased across his face as he went out on his balcony to greet the old man.
"Oh my goodness, you're really here!" soon after Lanzer said that every employee down the hallway and everyone out side in the snow, and everyone in Gaia looked towards his office and cheered.
"He is?!" they all shouted, "YAY" "HOORAY!" & "Yippee!" came out of everyone's mouth.
That was the night that Everyone's hopes and dreams were fore-filled. With Santa's Magic and Lanzer telling everyone that crowded around to go to the center of town. The World of Gaia was decorated from top to bottom with Christmas lights and decorations everywhere. Everyone was so happy, even the bad guys joined in their singing and dancing. The world of Gaia was at peace this fine evening, which even a Ghost would agree that Christmas for Gaia was saved.
