I can count on one hand my friends in this world, to one I owe my life and all I could offer her was my previous place in the great Tower outside the main city of Ashera.

I actually aided the Fae when the Vampires destroyed the last settlement in the forest, clearing way for their own selfish reasons. In an attempt to enslave them the Fae cursed a head of the Clans and it backfired, hitting me.
Under the stipulations of the curse I cannot tell anyone of it. I can not explain what it has done...Is doing to me now, but know that I was once handsome and tall...Not this dwarf-like thing I am now.
Kraft saved me, she pulled me from the fires of the forest and I adopted her, very young she was, and I instilled to the best of my ability a sense of right and wrong and the need to help others.
As punishment for the treason wrongly committed upon me, I was banished, not to be in the main city else face a beheading...But that is a longer story for another time.
