I'm bidding in an auction for a pet (I'm not naming names here, it was the principles and actions of the person running it that bothered me). Its for a cosplay of a char I happen to like quite a bit. I bid (the autobuy is low enough for me to afford but I want to see what the competition is like before doing that). I'm outbidded by someone who states her funds in the thread ( and she didnt have enough to autobuy with gold), so I bid again.
I visit the thread again a while later, to find said pet has been tagged - I ask when the pet was autobought as I've read back and seen no one posting that. I am told that it was traded through PM's for a pet...so not only was bidding taken out of the thread, but a pet trade was arranged for something already up for auction.
True; its this persons thread, this persons rules. And I can live with a pet being autobought IN THE THREAD with gold or items...I havent done it, so if someone else swoops in fair enough.
I just happen to think that if you want a pet trade it shouldnt be for something that is actively being bid on! To conduct it over PM's as well just makes me think that the auctioner feels they should hide it as well ><;
Well anyways, I've vented XD
Dont much care if you agree, or disagree with my stance on this but I just wanted it off my chest =P
