A/N: Ok, the whole '...great' thing at the end of the chapter heading is just something random I added in.

Anyway, I think that the first chapter was long and suckish....since it had nothing to really do with KH except for the Heartless and *sexy* Riku running in at the end. Hee hee! Don't worry, things will get interesting....Oh I sure hope so.....If your even still reading this.^^ Thanks!

Ok, who the hell was that guy?!

I had punched the black bug thing far enough back that in the seconds it took for it to get up and attack again I made eye contact with he white haired man that may have been a month or so older then me. He looked older the me, but not by much. He also had some of the most beautiful bright blue eyes I had ever seen.

Actually, I was so entranced by his eyes that the small black bug toppled me over, it's claws hooking onto my jacket as I fell so that it ended up on top of me. I stared at the yellow eyes, glowing in the dark like an animals. My breath was caught in my throat and my heart...it was beating so violently that the center of my chest hurt. I tried to push it off me, but I didn't need to. White hair dude came to my rescue.

"Hey! Get off of her!" He yelled, taking out a weapon that looked somewhat like a sword in the dark, since the candle went out I couldn't really tell if it was one or not, and slashed the bug across the back. It was so precise that the blade didn't cut me, but the black bug disappeared.

There was quiet in the room, all except for the sound of my beating heart and the slow breaths that the stranger and I shared. We stared at each other for a few moments before he held out his hand. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Fine, just dandy. I get attack by big black bug things all the time, y'know?" I took his hand an he pulled me up with a small chuckle.

"Heartless."

"What?"

"Heartless. They're called Heartless." He said simply, letting go of my hand and swinging his sword so that it rested behind his head.

"Heartless, huh? Why are they call-"

"Riku! Riku! Did you get it!?" I saw another shape run in through the door, and from what I could tell, he had really pointy hair and had a weapon that looked like a....a key!

"Yeah, I got it. Tried to take this girl's heart." This Riku, as his name probably was, pointed to me over his shoulder.

It took me only seconds to realize the situation.

"Heartless take hearts?" I asked, glance between the two boys. The new one seemed younger more more kid-ish. I have to say, I considered him my buddy right away.

Said buddy looked at me and nodded, "Yeah, and they're everywhere! You gotta be careful in your unarmed! That's why I got this!" He held up the keyblade in the air.

I raised an eyebrow,"That would have been really cool...but it's so dark in here that I can't see it." My voice was perfectly even, though I had to bite back a laugh.

"Oh...right," He said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Riku sighed, braking into the conversation with," Did you get them all, Sora?"

Sora, it seemed I was hearing their names through the grapevine today, looked at him and nodded. The lightning flashed and I caught a first glimpse of the two of them in real light. I also caught a first glimpse at the brown haired ones keyblade."Yeah, there weren't many, it was easy."

I looked back at him, meeting his also amazing blue eyes. Wow, both of them had pretty blue eyes, it kinda made me feel bad about my weird green-brown-gold eyes."Did you see my cousins?"

He gave me a blank look, "No, I didn't see anyone else here."

I frowned, "That can't be right. I saw them right before I went in here...." I looked at the curtain covering the window and remembered Kyile's texts. "Maybe they went across the street. They must have been worried about Bambi." I turned back to them and gave an ich face.

"Bambi?" They asked in unison.

"A summon spell?" Sora asked with a head tilt.

I felt really confussed, but I shook my head all the same. "I really don't know what that it, but Bambi is my lady-cousin's boyfriend," I told them. The sudden memory of the blackness that surrounded the house and the yellow pair of eyes looking at me from so far away made me shiver.

Riku seemed to catch on quickly, "There are Heartless there."

It wasn't a question, but I nodded.

"Well then, I guess we got more work to do Sora," He started for the door, "Let's go."

"Okay!" Sora started to fallow.

"Hey! Wait just one fish flipping minute!" I grabbed Sora's arm, since he was the closest one to me. He turned around to look at me. Riku, noticing he wasn't being fallowed, turned around too. I took a deep breath before say, "I'm going too."

Riku started laughing. He was seriously laughing at me? Chills of anger ran down my spin for a split second, I hated the feeling of being made fun of. Simply hated it. I sent a glare his way and was about to tell that this wasn't a joke when he said, "You'd better stay here, all you'd be was dead weight. Leave this to the professionals, girl." He turned and started down the hall again.

"My name is Alex! Get it right!" I shouted after him, but he was ignoring me. I turned my face to look at Sora, since I still had his arm in my grasp. He was staring up at me, trying to read my face in the little light we had. I then realized how short he was and almost creaked a smile. "Please," I said simply, "I need to know what happened to them. Weapon or no weapon, I'll find something. I just have to know that they're okay."

Understanding was the emotion clear in his amazing eyes. Did he ever lose people that were close to him? So much that he would do anything to find them? He was so young, but he knew at least one thing. I wasn't going to just stay behind.

He smiled, "Alright, but you'd better find a really good weapon."
