Darcy Napier is the daughter of two of the strongest dark faeries throughout the world. She was raised in the shadowlands of the faerie world, taught the dark arts of the faerie magic, and controls all the elements of night. She has a unique ability to change into a human to lure in unsuspecting mortals to the shadowlands for her fellow fae to attack. They live off of fear and blood of mortal beings, but Darcy simply lives off the fear, not having a taste for their blood like the vampire vermin. Much to her parents disapproval, she leaves the Shadowlands for long periods of time in order to explore the human world and search for anything to break her free from the opressed life of being a Dark Faerie Princess.
