The hate filled eyes
The cut mark left for the past
You told all the lies
I knew this beautiful dream would not last

My tears only fall when I think of you.
The blood only flows when the pain comes back
Painful eyes are on you
They blame you for your betraying act

My fears of the present rip me in two
I tremble looking forward taking two steps
backwards
Doubt sips into my heart as if it was on cue
Forcing me to look downward

To hide and forget everything
Ending the pain replacing it with numbness
Maybe one day I could stop hating
Forgetting even your name and my loneliness
