~SETTING~
Setting:
A newly discovered small mass of land containing precious stones, wood, and fertile land. But most importantly it contains mysteries... The island is near Philippines and Japan, some where in between the two. No known civilization rests there, but thats not an actual fact... Its up to you to choose what happens to this new island...
Colonization:
Land has many uses. It can be used to grow food. It can be used to save a species or even destroy a race. It can be used as a nuclear testing zone. But what land can be used for is not important... its the deciding of what to do with the land that matters. You could grow food and save the starving. Or why not save a few endangered species? Drill for oil and become a billionaire even? Or mabye your the cruel man of this earth and would rather use it for your brand new palace you long to build... A weapons factory or two? Creating an island has endless opportunities... but even more possibilities of mistakes. Look to the world powers... choose who you'll emulate... U.S.A? China? Russia? England?Germany?Or mabye you'd rather choose a smaller county to model after like Japan, Hong Kong, Cuba, North/South Korea, ect. The fate of this land and the lives of your people rests in your decisions...
Civilization:
Every country needs a way to live. And a reason to live. Jobs are a way to entertain people. Education also occupies time. Religion consumes time. But to create or choose one of these you must have something to control them. Something that could make sure one does not become corrupt or dishonest... Yes... A government is the next step. Be a Monarchy, Aristocracy, Democracy, Republican, or even Dictatorship... What you choose will change your domain forever. Even if you happen to change governments later on, your first government will always leave a mark... Again... Choose wisely...
Expansion:
In war there is no good or bad. There is only big and small. Wealthy and poor. Resources or no resources... Eventually the island will become to small. And when a place becomes to small you have only two choices. A? Making peace with other nations and forming land treaties in exchange for something... B? War. Its the most simple way to expand. Heck, war makes money... so whats to lose then? Lives? Well if your willing to go to war those must not matter that much to you... so go on. Just... think about who you should fight first...
