...and all across the earth, the now unfethered people fell to the earth. Looking up, they saw the very sun crumble before them, and with climbing panic their minds flailed about to grasp any notions of divinity. They screamed, they begged, they killed eachother over the rights to be the chosen ones.

Amidst this, it came to be that a new people was elected, and people tried to worship them as gods. However, man knew nothing about divinity, and the people they chose has no divinity in them.

Another people was appointed to fall, and so to came to be that man tried to exterminate the very divinity they sought.

So it came to be that man, in its ignorance, turned against god.

With time, the people chosen by man will inevitably fall, and the ones chosen by god will inevitably triumph.

However, the problem runs much deeper than that. Man is also destined to fall.
