You make me think I’m worthless,
Each and every day,
I keep hoping and praying,
That I’ll just fade away.

You don’t know how many times
I’ve thought about my end,
How it would be so easy,
All who’d miss me would be my friends.

With a slice of a knife,
Or a swig of Drain-O,
A shot to the head,
All the ways I could go.

This has gone on for so many weeks,
I’m surprised you didn’t see,
I wish that’s you’d stop yelling,
That you could let me be.

You always claim to be so smart,
I thought you could see my tears,
It hasn’t been going just for weeks,
I lied, it’s been going for years.

I try to be kind to you,
Saying nice things to your face,
So as not to upset your tender emotions,
And I won’t have to keep my space.

Your man thinks I need therapy,
You say it’s all in my head,
But after all these years I know what I need,
And that is to be dead.

I don’t want to be around either of you,
Always nitpicking everything I do,
Being so hypocritical,
I want to start anew.

To leave from home
And never come back,
Oh how nice that would be,
I guess I’ll go and pack.

Taking my stuff that I have bought,
It all goes in my case,
Everything is in there,
Now to get out of this place.

Carrying the bag,
I walk out the door,
I wait for the bus,
And new life… perhaps as a whore.

Perhaps I should get involved in drugs,
Become the prodigal daughter,
And you can see on the news,
About my horrible slaughter.

If I don’t get killed that way,
I could drop dead of failing health,
Oh you two could live off my insurance,
A nice chunk of wealth.

Don’t even try to apologize,
You’ve already hurt me enough,
And the physical part of it,
Wasn’t really that rough.

You may think I write this to embarrass you,
But no it’s to make you aware,
Then again, it may not bother you,
As if you really care.
