Broken Void, a war of dreams...
This is to delve deeper into the Character that is known as Red. More than enough has been revealed so it's safe to let this out by now.
In the year of XXXX the boy named Kaleck was born into the red brood.The noble family Vulf'Shtag was a family without elementals, but it was about to gain one. At the age of three, Kaleck was bathed in the blood of his parents as well as one demon. Luckily for him the demons were incompetent enough to have the feeling of mercy. The boy, incapable of taking care of himself was forced to wallow in his bloodbath, causing it to mix with his tears. The plant, known to have given the Elementals their powers was a food source for the young noble and due to his living conditions it had blessed him with control over one of the forbidden elements...
Blood...
It was after a year that another raid of demons set fire to his village, but now he was capable of avenging his parents. With his newly acquired ability Kaleck was able to dispatch one demon for every wound he received. His rage ended when every demon lay dead in his wake. His family was avenged and he slept that night this time in the blood of his own as well as his prey.
After waking up a pale mess of flesh he left his home on a journey of vengeance. He was then adopted by a group of mercenaries known as the Angel Cloaks and was allowed into their ranks to begin his life as a mercenary. Quickly rising in the ranks of the Angel Cloaks, Kaleck had gained his own Angel Cloak and dyed it Red with the blood of those he had slain, finally discovering an easier means of using his weapon. This is the origination of Kaleck's nickname, Red.
After reaching the age of ten Kaleck had mastered his ability and earned himself the right to begin his own mercenary group. As much as wanderers wanted to join the young mercenary's group, he was known as the Crimson Wolf, working by himself. This young warmonger had soon caught the eye of another team with his great roster of demon slaying sorties...
The Great Four requested that Red join them as the fifth member to fill in a spot as one of the forbidden elements, the center of the cross. He rejected the offer and continued on his own while the drama of the Great Four unfolded from within. Red had taken it upon himself to do a favor for the group which he had just rejected and hunted the murderer from within. With a deal made with the actual Great Four, Red decided that he would not take credit for the death of one incapable of defending themselves from a child. That was why the death was regarded as a suicide, not to mention it was meant to mock the Great Four's mastery of the elements.
As Red grew in age, his seriousness had faded and he had gained a bit more of a fun-loving side. He became more assured that he was the best in the world, but he was also looked down upon because of his use of a forbidden element. This was why he attempted to keep it a secret as best as he could and so far he has been doing quite well.
It wasn't until he looked upon a small peaceful village with murderous intent did he realize what kind of monster he had become. His taste for money is what truly saved the village from a malevolent daimyo's burning wrath. With his pockets lined with a young boys cash he decimated the army that he was once working for nearly single handedly... He did all the work for the most part.
After a little time for relaxation the entire village was awoken by the crashing of the Demon King's greater shell. He knew of what would happen, but his new semi partners refused to leave the village defenseless. The only demon he could ever fear was the Demon King Kraw Marad who had haunted his dreams since that fateful day that he had avenged his family. The man encased in solid rock had been removed from the city apparently being of importance to the Demon King.
Now it was his job... As well as a couple of other folks to find the Old Earthling. They could quite possibly be the only actual defense of Earth against the war being waged between Angel's and Demon's.
