That's right, I'm still smiling.
I've taken my beatings,
Yet smile day and night,
I'm going to win this fight!
Makes you question
What behind these wry lips lies.
What secret wonders
Hide these glistening eyes.
Candor, enough to spare,
Love, freely given for all to share.
Today all is well,
Today the weather is fair.
Take my hand, I'll share my strength of will.
And breath life into your fire.
No need to stand still,
Keep smiling while the world turns dire.
