What if i said goodbye?
Would you even care?
If tonight was the night, would i get more than a stare?

What if i said i missed you?
Would you give a damn?
Or would you shrug it off?
After all, it's just the way I am.

What if i told the truth?
Would I be too late?
Or would you forgive and forget; make a clean slate?

I've tried all i can
Pushed myself on.
Now i don't see why
there would be a better dawn.

I admit I'm a coward
A voice unheard
One that's lost all he had
Because of an unspoken word

I'm coming along now
one step at a time
I've been trying to tell you
With the right word or rhyme.

I've shouted until my head split
I've prayed countless nights
Nothing has gave me spirit
Nothing has gone right.

So, give me this chance.
