Green day happened to be one of my favorite bands until they released their album 21st Century Breakdown. I only skimmed the first minute or so of each song but it seems like this is a total downer. dont get me wrong they arent punk. but most of their stuff is good in my opinion. However, this was a big let down. It was supposed to be a continuation of american idiot as another rock opera. Now, Ive noticed something about the band. They constantly play power chords, most of their lyrics never grew up with them and they've never put anything edgy out in the past decade almost. Im not sure if anyone else wants this album or could care less. but until I find one detail interesting, I will post and say this album isnt as bad as i thought. Until then, just stay away.
