the rain falls and never stops
lightneenreflects off every rain drop
thunder echoes off every hill
and i know your calling me name

sorrow shows in every rock
pain is enhanced by every tree
grief plays across the sky
dread is embedded deep in me

every flower is dull and weak
the shadows deepen farther on
the sun sets and no moon rises
as i lose a part of me

your face i can no longer see
your name is on the tip of my mind
i no longer remember you
for now your forever lost to me
