“You knew that I was asleep didn’t you” Seth said “well maybe” Crystal said Seth sat straight up and turned so his feet would be on the floor and looked at Crystal “Well what were you dreaming about” she asked “well us” Seth said “huh” Crystal said a little strangely “ya know the old gang’ Seth said “oh you mean Maxi, Max, me, and you” she said “yeah I talked to Max today he says ‘hi’” Seth said “what really how is he?!” Crystal said “he was my cab driver and we talked and caught up a little” Seth said “oh really remember the time when you told me you wanted ask a girl out and I thought you were talking about me” she said laughing “yeah why did you bring that up” Seth said “weren’t you crushing on Maxi?” she asked “hey it was puppy love besides it was along time ago I‘m more mature now” Seth said “Seth it was only a few months ago” she said “You’d be surprised how fast a guy can mature over the course of 96 days” Seth said Crystal laughed “wait 96 days isn’t that the day that Max and Maxi left awww your counting the day how cute” Crystal said “yea you know me 96 days 11hours 55 minuets and 56 seconds” Seth said joking Crystal laughed “so how is she?” she asked Seth’s face’s expression immediately changed from happy to hurt her couldn’t look Crystal in the eye Crystal walked up to Seth and sat next to him on his bed “what is it” she said “when I talked to Max he said that ‘she’s gone she left the city’” Seth said “what!” she said “that doesn’t sound like Maxi” she said “well I…..I” Seth said obviously hold back his true emotions Crystal got up and closed Seth’s room door and locked it and sat back next to Seth “it’s okay Seth I’m the only one that’s in here” she said Seth immediately embraced Crystal and began crying “I…I Don’t understand I don’t even know if she’s alive I’ really confused it’s not like her” he said crying Crystal began tearing up as well she tilted Seth’s head up so they could look eye to eye “Maxi is a strong girl you of all people should know that…” she wiped Seth’s tears away with her thumbs “…I know she’s okay and she has a good reason for doing this” she said Seth wiped the tears from the corner of Crystal’s eyes “I know that but how can you be sure” he said they looked deep into each other’s eyes.
Rachel stood up she was in a room with wooden floor and bookcase and a desk wit a name place that said ‘Barbara Walker’ and Barb was sitting at the desk and then stood up “welcome to Sunshine Unknown Orphanage” she said then Rachel shook her hand and they stopped a tear rolled down Rachel’s cheek she felt sad and fearful she felt it fall off her face and then another slowly came down from the other eye “I..I…I…I gotta go to my room” she said rushing out of Barb’s office “Wait Rachel are you okay” Barb said but Rachel was gone “something must be wrong with Seth” Rachel thought as the ran up the stairs.
“Truly you have to trust your heart your mind is telling you one thing but your heart another trust your heart that’s where the answer lies” Crystal said back in Seth’s room “trust my heart but you know I’m more of a thinking guy” Seth said “which is why you never got the girl the first time don’t let it stop you from believing in her” Crystal said they were still gazing deeply into each other’s eyes Seth leaned towards Crystal slowly and hugged her again “thanks Crystal” Seth said suddenly the door unlocked and the door flew open “Seth are you okay” Rachel said Seth released Crystal and Crystal and Seth both stared at Rachel they noticed the tears on her face Rachel noticed Crystal “oh Crystal’s already on it sorry for barging in” she said she began closing the door “Rachel wait why are you crying” Seth said “oh I’m crying” she said whipping the tears away. “I didn’t notice” she said then closed the door her back against the door she sighed “Does Rachel know Maxi” Crystal said “I don’t think so” Seth said “well I think you to should talk so I’ll check on you later on today” she said Rachel herd Crystal and she slowly tipped towed away Crystal stood up and walked to the door “see ya” she said then left Rachel was no where in sight Crystal walked to her room Seth went to open the door to find Rachel he opened the door she was standing right in front of the door “so what’s wrong” Seth asked Rachel walked past him and sat on her bed “I felt your felling sadness fearfulness and anger I just started crying out of nowhere you were thinking about Maxi right” she said “yeah” Seth said closing the door the two bed were horizontally side by side Seth sat on his bed the sun just went down a slight orangeish-yellow glow could still be seen Seth got up and walked to his window to look at the stars Rachel looked up and around quickly an got up and looked through the window “do you sense that” she said “what” Seth said “there” she said pointing at some guy walking in the middle of the street sluggish slouched over and with long arm they were nearly dragging on the floor he was kinda tall and scrawny “what it’s just a guy” Seth said “I’ve got a bad felling about him” Rachel said “what are you…” Seth said then Rachel touched him he felt it too like an unknown familiar feeling that that guy we bad news “…whoa now I see what you’re talking about” Seth said “we have to follow him” Rachel said opening the window “out the window again” Seth said “yup” Rachel said
