Okaay. Chiron is really making me freaking mad!!!!
Today i went up to him and said, "Okaay, come on Chiron, just tell me watever it is that you're keeping from me!"
"I can't," Chiron said, "the time isn't right. When the time comes, then you'll know."
Then he left before i could say anything.
Okay, i thought, i'll just ask Connor or Phelia or Kina..
So i went to Connor first and asked him about it. He looked like he knew something, but he said, "No! That's strange.. well I guess you'll know when the time is right."
"Thanks Connor.." I said.
Fine, if Connor won't tell me then i'll go ask Phelia or Kina. So i went toward the arena and i saw Kina hanging out over there, so i hurried over and asked HER about it.
She looked really confused. So i believed her when she said she didn't know.
"Ergh.. okay.. do you know where Phelia is?"
"Oh, yea," said Kina, "she's over by the Mess Hall. When I left her she was talking to Chiron with Alannis."
"Hmm.. well thanks, Kina, see you later."
Oh, so Chiron will tell Phelia and Alannis???? About watever this 'important thing' is?? What the heck.
So i went over there and Alannis left and Chiron was about to leave when he spotted me.
"Oh no you don't! Tell me, if you told Phelia and Alannis!" Phelia was about to talk, but Chiron stopped her by raising his hand. He just stared at me. I gave him a hard look, so he said,
"Fine.. you know how the cabins are fighting? Well you, Phelia, Connor, and Alannis are going on a quest. Someone has to go up to the attic and ask the Oracle.."
You could say i was suprised.. but i was expecting more. But still.. a quest??
"Umm.. okay? You still look like you got more to say. Tell me everything!"
"Okay," Chiron said, "Will you be quest leader?"
umm.. wat?
"Umm...,"i said,"i don't really think i'm the one to lead. Can't someone else? Hey, Phelia, wanna lead?"
Phelia looked excited when she said, "Oh yea, sure!"
"Okay, Phelia," Chiron said,"Go up to the attic."
"Okay!" then Phelia ran up to the Big House and disapeared behind the door.
Chiron and I stood there. I was pretty confused.. so i asked,
"Why ask me last? Seriously, Why do i get to know about this quest last minute?! Let me guess, we're leaving tomorrow morning."
Chiron looked at me, and it was a weird look. It was like a look of relief, like he expected me to freak out. Which i'm pretty close to doing.
"Well," he said, "I was afraid that you would say no. We need you on this quest, and you're so unpredictable i wouldn't really know wat your reaction would be. Last minute was the best time for you. And yes, you are leaving tomorrow morning. Now, go pack, and rest. You'll need it."
