I strongly believe that we should pay attention to the older generation.Most kids or even teenagers and young adults think that older people are 'out dated' or 'old fashioned',but we never really stop and think about how much experience and wisdom older people have.Have you ever stopped and asked yourself."Just how much can I learn from one older person?"The answer is quite obvious.Alot.You can not only learn about educational things but also life lessons which are very important to learn especially now days.
Maybe you're struggling with somthing.Say a problem that you are trying to figure out or over come.I'm certain there is one older person that has been through the same things you have.Why not ask them?I believe that older people have a lot of stories to tell.Mainly because of all the years they have lived.They have seen many things you haven't yet.I often ask myself why us young people go to other young people for help or advice when really you both are the same age and have the same experience.
I think instead of disrespecting the older generation,we should be more open minded and listen to them.I think if every young person in the world did that today,the youth of todays generation would be more intelligent and better prepared to solve lifes problems.Not every older person is good to listen to.But the majority of them are.
