A willow tree that won't stop weeping

A cutter and their past

Time doesn't heal a damn thing

It never lets pain leave fast



An abused child and their thoughts

A widow that just won't let go

Yet no matter how intense the sorrow gets

We still swear not to let it show



A dear hit in the street so unpleasently

A victim of a drive-by

Memories so quick and painless

Even happy ones bring a tear to your eye



I hope you can feel the pressure

Of all that you've become

I doubt you'll ever stand up

And take responsibility for what you've done



The pain of losing you

Makes it so hard not to cry

You didn't even want to work it out

You didn't even want to try



The worst part is not knowing

And seeing you wasting time

You didn't even want to stick around long enough

For me to hear you apoligize



I found out an explanation

And discovered I should stop the worry

The reason I should not stick around

Is because I know that your not sorry



I hope that the rain of forgivness

Will wash away all of our blood

Relive us of our sins

Giving us the hug that no one else would



How could a relationship so pure

Become so deprived

The memories that never fade

We feel for the rest of our lives



The touch of ice cold hands

The way things used to be

Suffocating in dead thoughts

All made from you and me



The way that blame takes over

You and all the lies

We'll just keep on sittingh here

With our hope that forever dies
