Fairytale
Once upon a time there lived a girl, her Father & her Mother. They lived happily but; they lived under a gray shadow and soon after having been cursed... her mother surcomed to her feelings and killed her-self. They found her body lying by an old, dead Hazelnut tree and saw it fit to bury her there where her body & soul would be shaded from the summer heat, and storms and anyother hardships that nature would make them face. She remained buried for a number of years, and everyday her daughter would go by her grave and pray. Everyday her daughter went to her grave to show her gratitude towards her dead mother but, today was different. When the young woman was making her over to the enchanted tree grave her mother was dwelling in, she came past a giant rose bush that was bare with dead, red roses all except one. Giant thorns pricked the young maiden as she grabbed for the live rose and not to soon she started bleeding. The maiden finally gave up, and walked to her mothers grave empty handed, and wept as blood ran down her arms and clothes. "Dont cry" said a voice not to far. This frightended the maiden so she grabbed a cross and started saying her hail marys. "Hail Mary full of grace, the lord is with thee" she repeated. The maiden finally stopped thinking the voice or creature had gone away. She looked to the sky and noticed the sun was setting and as she got up she felt slight tugs on her dress. She looked down and saw 2 white birds, tugging at her dress in persistence. "Shoo!" she said, "Go away, I don't have any food to give little birds. Go". The birds replied to her; "It's not food we want, please stay. Stay with your Mother she needs you." The maiden thought and wanted to cry. Her mother had been dead for years and how could she need her? The birds started flying but in a sort of manner that they could easily be followed. The maiden followed them knowing they could do no harm and she was lead back to the rose bush which was now a shorter distance from where her Mother had been buried. The 2 birds flew into the bush and started pecking at the thorns. "Peck, peck, peck!" they had almost devoured the dead rose thorns. "Peck, peck, peck!" they had cleared most of the bushes. The birds stopped and lead the maiden inside the bush where she could now fetch the rose she had seen before. "Your mother she needs you" the birds would say; but how would the rose and her mother be the same? "Take special care of this rose for it contains your Mothers gracious soul" the birds cried. The maiden replied "Thank you!" and found her way back to the home she shared with her Father, herself, and now her Mother.
