omfg, best weekend ever!!! my class and i went to six flags discovery kingdom for our end of the year party. it waz so friggin awesome!!!! my group of friends went on the medusa first which is the tallest roller coaster in califronia on record. since that is the most popular ride the park, it is garaunteed to have an hour long + lines all through the whole day, so we were among the first ten people on it because we practically busted our butts running there. then we ran over to vertical velocity which is the fastest roller coaster in CA on record. on this ride, you board the train thing or whatever you call it on a platform. you hang below the track and your feet dangle under you. they launch you up a hill and into a cork-screw. then, when your upside down, they stop you for like two seconds then you go backwards back through the platform and into another hill. when the whole train is vertically upright, they hold you for a couple seconds then they drop you. it is so much fun. oh, and then we went on the water rides. the first one we went on was a rafting ride and there was this giant waterfall. two of my friends got soaked under the waterfall. then we went to a boat ride. we didnt get that wet on the ride itself. but right over the drop is a bridge and if you stand in the right spot you get extremely wet. it was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blaugh 3nodding xd
