After Myritian formed for himself a dragon body, he made a female from Earth rock, born of the last of his star fire. They were the First Two. Myritian gave his mate the gift of long life, which she was given from his star's fire. This gift has been passed on to all dragons, which have an extraordinarily long lifespan. The fire within the female was also passed on to the dragons of the world today, who all have the fire within their bellies. The First Two had three hatchlings: Spavek, Wraetha, and Lyrith. Spavek was a black dragon, like his father, and Wratha was a bronze dragon, like her mother. But Lyrith was a blue dragon, a dragon of the sky and the sea, completely different from the rest of her family. Because of this, she was the first to leave the nest and explore the world. She would become Lyrith the Poet, who wrote many of the most popular dragon songs today as well as many beautiful poems that have been set to music. Wraetha became a healing dragon, as many bronze, or earth, dragons today are. She, and her descandants, use elements of the Earth to heal others. Spavek was the last to leave his nest, for he wanted to learn much from his father. And indeed, as soon as he left he made for himself a mate from rock, like his father had, and he too used the last of his fire within his belly to create her. She was named Doenar, and she and Spavek had many hatchlings that grew to become some of the most well-known dragons: Sparkler the red dragon of fire, who made the first volcano; Anria, the green dragon of the forest, whose spirit still resides in her tree in the great Western Forest; Fyrio, who became the first Emperor; and many others. These were the first dragons to roam this Earth, the ancestors of every dragon in the world today.
