My best guy friend told me that he joined the army reserves and he's being shipped out for basic training on may 27.....this is hard for me cause i dont want anything to happen to him. Once he turns eighteen he's probably going to go active duty and theres a very good chance that he will be shipped to iraq and thats the last thing i want. He means alot to me but at the same time i understand where he's coming from because not that long ago i wanted to join the army. Fortunately though i really got into technology so thats going to be my major but the army will always be an option for me....i will always be an army brat. Hopefully nothing will happen to him though im going to keep in touch with him by sending him letters.....when he goes active duty though i don't want to get that phone call from his mother telling me that i have to come to his funeral......hopefully that day will never come.....
