You locked it away And every day you just get farther and farther away. But still it claims that little part inside you the part that is silently screaming as you turn and walk away. Where is the sunshine on a rainy day? Where is land in the sea? Can you even remember the days spent just simply living? Like a faded memory trying to resurface the child inside you stirs. But you just close the door, gone are the times of child lore, But why? You have the keys so why not tend your child's needs? Because you forgot. No longer do you see a castle in your bedroom nor a ocean in a puddle. Your selling the keys one by one till you think you've finally won But who-ever wants their childhood gone?
