Kiss her goodbye
Remember she told you not to cry
This sickness took her life
This sickness took a daughter, a mother, a wife
She played music so soft and sweet
In Heaven, Jesus she did meet
Her hair was so long and sleek
The eyes of the ones she loved did leak
Her children’s eyes are amazingly blue
Her Christian faith means she knows what’s true
She left behind family, friends, and a lover
She left behind her children who won’t remember much about their mother
Her life was so precious to us all
But she answered Jesus’ Heavenly call
So goodbye a lover, a mother, a daughter, a friend
And we all promise to see you when our race comes to an end
