LONDON, England (UPI) -- Britain`s Prince Charles is reported so upset over a leak of remarks he made about Chinese leaders that he may seek legal action.
His aides, meanwhile, have warned him to stop circulating accounts of his foreign trips to friends and handpicked politicians.
The prince`s unflattering remarks on the communist leaders of China were leaked to a newspaper, a deed he sees as an unforgivable betrayal of confidence, the Times of London said. He reportedly knows who did it.
The publication of Charles` disparaging description of the ruling elite of Beijing as 'appalling old waxworks' comes only days after the state visit by Hu Jintao, the president of China.
The leaked material is believed to have been copied from a journal and handed to a newspaper by someone not on the prince`s list of intended recipients.
