Chapter 10: A Painful Moment
Shigure pulled up in front of the Sohma estate and opened the door to help Yuki out of the front seat, with a little help from Kyo, Tohru, Akito and Hatori. They lead the poor boy towards Hatori's office where the other Sohma's met them. As soon as they walked into the office, Yuki screamed and fell to his knees. The Mabudachi trio helped him back up and Hatori led him to the hospital bed, helping him take his pants off and drapped a towel over his privates. "Ok, let's see how the babies are doing." Hatori smiled to Yuki as he checked him.
Yuki moaned in agony from another contraction. "Well, the twins are on their way." He grabbed a towel from the end table and held it in front of the opening that appeared in between his balls and.......you know. "Now, when you feel a contraction, start pushing." he instructed Yuki. Yuki nodded, breathing deeply. Akito held one hand and Tohru held the other while Yuki pushed.
Yuki was practically sobbing in pain. The Sohmas gave him what support they could. An excited smile grew on Hatori's face. "Ok, I see the head!" he smiled up at Yuki. "You've got this! Keep going!" Yuki nodded, sobbing in agony. A few more excrutiating minutes went by, until Hatori's smile faded. "Um...I have good news and bad news." he said to Yuki. "Good news: You're doing very well and the babies are fine.....bad news: I think this one's stuck."
An expression of panic spread across Yuki's face. "But, I think I can fix that." Hatori reassured him. "Y-You're not going to do a C-section...are ya?" Shigure stammered in a panic. "No need." Hatori said, grabbing a pair of plastic gloves from the counter next to him. Yuki screamed with another contraction. Hatori lightly patted his knee and said, "Don't worry Yuki. You'll be ok." Hatori gently reached through and gripped the first twin around the back of its head. "Ok, Yuki, push." Hatori told him.
Yuki sat up and pushed, accidently crushing Tohru and Akito's hands, making them yelp in pain. A glare formed on Yuki's face as he let go of Tohru's hand and immediately reached for Kyo's neck, just as Kyo predicted. "GAK!" Kyo choked. "Yuki, let go of Kyo." Hatori told him sternly. Yuki let go with a groan of pain. Yuki pushed again, even harder. Eventually, the pressure was lifted off of him and he took a breath. His breath hitched when he heard the sound...of a baby crying. His baby has come into the world.He pushed himself up and saw Hatori cradleing a bloody baby in a blue blanket. "Congratulations, Yuki." Hatori smiled. "It's a boy."
Yuki's tears of pain were replaced with tears of joy. The girls cooed over the baby and the guys congratulated him. Yuki held his hands out to hold his son in his arms. He lightly kissed the baby's forehead and whispered, "Shhh. It's ok. Daddy's here." Suddenly, another contraction jolted within him. The twin had yet to be born. With shaky breaths, he handed the baby to Tohru. Kyo took her place and held his hand. Yuki grunted in pain as another contraction and pushed as hard as he could. When he exhausted himself completely of energy, he tried to sum some more up, sobbing in pain. Kyo looked at him sadly. To think that he used to hate him.
With tears of sympathy, Kyo held Yuki's hand close. Yuki cried out in pain with another contraction. "It's almost here." Hatori smiled at Yuki. Yuki tried to push one last time. Eventually, the pressure and pain were finally lifted off of Yuki...it was all over. The twins were born. A rush of air deafened him for a second. He could see people talking, but couldn't hear them, until the cry of his twins sounded. "It's a boy!" Hatori sighed excitedly. With tears of joy, Yuki held his sons in his arms. He could hardly beleive it. He was a father. Naoko was a mother.
He held his sons close and said to them soothingly, "It's ok. Daddy's here. Don't cry." Yuki felt weak. He handed the twins to Kyo and Akito and fell into a deep sleep.

Awwwwwww! Twin baby boys!!!!! 4laugh *huggles them* They so kawaii!!!!!!!!!! Poor Yuki had to suffer though. crying Oh well. blaugh Enjoy!!!!!!
