CRIMSON
The Story of Fox and all those connected to him.
Chapter 1 Entry 1
Hello. My name is Erran. No, this story isn't about me. It's about my dearest friend, Youmaku "Fox" Kitsune. Well let me start from a good spot...

OKay. I Got one.

Youmaku "Fox" Kitsune. One of the coolest, sweetest, best looking guy in school. I, however, was a geek. We attended Merrilock's School of the Elemental Arts for Boys. I enrolled for clerical classes. Fox was sent at a very young age, an orphen with some money behind him. Most students int he school have some sort of elemental power. Fire, Water, Electricity, or Earth. The rare elements and sometimes feared are Light and Dark. Both capable of both creation and destruction. I was one of those rare ones. A Light Elemental. Fox doesn't know his element.

The school ball is in a week. This is a time when Merrilock's and Crucifara's School for girls join together for a night of dancing and getting to know girls. The guys at school say that the girls pick their dancing partners by their elemental power. The idea scares Fox but he has to hide his fear. He just learned today that his buddy Brian learned he has a wind element. Being the only one of his group of friends without an element, he puts himself into a day of seclusion to hide his sadness.

During Healing 101, a fellow named Damien moved to the seat behind Fox and in front of me. With my powerful elven ears I could hear him speaking. "Psst. Hey!" Fox growls under his breath. "Go away Damien. I don't want to have to deal with your crap today." Damien grins and leans in further, using his element to make flames dance on his fingers. "You want to find out your element don't you? ... You do. I can tell. The way your pulse hastens at the sight of someone else's power. Deep inside you hate them and the stronger they get, the more it grows. I can make it go away. I have connections. If you want to know what your power can do, I know the best herbologist and runist on campus." A runist, I thought. But that's not possible. All the books bearing runic marking were locked away in the headmaster's private vault. While I was pondering this, I missed the details of this conversation. Fox scribbled a name and some numbers down on his paper quickly. I'm a bit worried now... Things are getting way too unpredictable...
