The Ring
There sat many waiting to catch your eye
Some that sat the shone like the stars in the sky
Many seemed to laugh when you picked them up
But I liked none, none but one
The Sapphire diamond in the middle surrounded by its white cousins
It was clothed in white gold to keep it warm
That to me shone in the darkness
That was the ring that caught my eye
Even now its with me
and with me
is were it shall stay
