I started an Art Charity with Azure Phoenix the other day
um *checks date* October 18, 2005 to be exact
it was more of a 'spur of the whim' type sorta thing actually sweatdrop
I've never made a thread in the Art Freebies forum and I wouldn't call myself a regular in there...in fact I just started wandering in there a few days earlier to get a general feel of the atmosphere in there....
personally....I thought it was sort of like the Charity forum...a combination of some nice art-loving people and a handful of art grabbing people ^^;
so....I'm sort of...timid with my art you know...as you can see from me never wanting to join DevianArt, SheezyArt and the like...but at the same time the Art Freebies forum's atmosphere...was starting to pull me in...
so I was reading the sticky in there and saw it mention the phrase "Art Charity"
Of course an Art Charity needs to be run by more than one person to be called a charity right? at least that's what I believed.....
soooooo......from all my Gaia friends who are artists...these immediately came to mind: Azure Phoenix, Leithia, Miso Soup, aubade, and worm....
worm is a real life friend of mine who was the one who first originally introduced me to Gaia...unfortunately I rarely bump into her on Gaia ever since I joined.......
Leithia....mentioned once that she could never see herself making "Art Freebies" to give to people for free....
Miso Soup.....well....she's been busy with life lately and I don't see her on Gaia as much anymore...
aubade......like Miso, has fallen victim to this thing called "real life" and I don't bump into her much on Gaia anymore...plus she's only showed me one of her art pieces....so um.... sweatdrop
ah...so I saw Azure online and asked him....sort of sarcastically but seriously if he wanted to start an Art Charity forum with me?
Honestly Azure XD you surprised me with your "yes" .....not that I was expecting you to say anything specifically...but ah...it still surprised me anyway xD [.......]
3nodding so...we started an art charity and Azure left the name picking up to me....er....even though I'm bad at naming sweatdrop and I picked "Kitsune Okami Art Charity" which means 'Fox Wolf Art Charity' if you translate the first 2 words from Japanese
I picked that...well....because I'm always wearing fox stuff and consider myself a 'demonic fox puppy' and Azure is sometimes referred to as "Wolfy" usually by Tear ^^;
Maybe it's a little late now but do you all think it's a good name?
sweatdrop I couldn't think of anything else at the time....
