Mood: Frustrated (still) and Happy (fake)

I'm going to TRY to be happier today, but I doubt I'll have much success. I'm going to go through each period of the day.

English - For most of the class period some people were gone for an "AVID" presentation. The teachers recommended some students for it. AVID is supposedly something for kids who want to do better, but need help with it. I don't know... It's between REALLY smart and average. Basically Pre-AP/Honors students who make A/B or maybe A/B/C. I wasn't recommended, but neither was one of my friends, so I think it's because we would fit in the REALLY smart category and don't need "help" getting better. Or at least, that's the reason we came up with.

Science - My group is not even close to being done, I don't think. For me personally though, I'm done with my part on the map and the powerpoint. All I need to help with now is the "third media source" which I'm doing tonight with one of my partners, Harman. Harman and I are going tomorrow morning to work on the project some more before it's due. My other two partners are in the other class and I don't know how to contact them. I think Harman knows how to contact one of them.... Things are starting to look better for my individual grade, but I'm not sure about the group grade. It frustrates me that I'm getting graded on what the other people did/didn't do. I don't think they should be able to affect/effect (I'm not sure which) my grade. It will most likely bring my grade down some because that's what usually happens... except for this one time last year in social studies when my partner did more than me. (Thanks Jenny! I'm sorry about that!) I planned on doing a lot, but I was very easily distracted back then - and still am - so I almost didn't do my part of the project.... Did I end up coming through though? (Only asking Jenny) I think I ended up doing my part of it. I just did it the night before which probably made her worry. sweatdrop Sorry again! Anyways, back to my day:

Social Studies - We did part of the project today. It looks like it's going to be a lot easier than we had thought. The only thing that's going to be challenging is writing a two-page essay on our character. I don't know if I'll be in that class tomorrow, though, because I have the Spelling Bee. On Friday I have a all-day band thing where we practice all day and then have a concert in the afternoon. I won't be at school at all, but I'll still probably have to make up some work which really makes me mad. That's why I have to take a math test tomorrow after school.

Spanish - We didn't get anything done, really... again. stressed I'm so sick of the moronic kids in that class. They don't know how to behave.

Office Aid(e) - It was the same as usual. We didn't do much except on the rare occasion that something needed to be taken somewhere. We worked on cleaning out Janira's binder. Again. She's not very good at keeping it clean. We do it about once every other week, which is really sad. I clean mine probably about every other 6 weeks because mine doesn't get dirty/cluttered. I never have anything I don't need in it.

Band - We just practiced music. What else?

P.E. - I "skipped" it to go to the band hall. We practiced some of our All-District music. I got to play one quarter note... stare The French Horn usually doesn't have many good parts, if any. You do hear them a lot in movies though! More than trumpets and flutes! The only instruments to compete with in movies are probably clarinets, saxophones, and any string instrument.

Math - We went over some extra credit stuff. I had already done it all. We learned how to add and subtract radicals. Again. We already learned how last year.

Anyways, my life is boring, I know, but I'm writing about it anyways.
