Midard part 3

Xaviar let out a big sigh. "Ok, now lets sacrifice this thing and get it over with."
Segnfiend grasped the bow tightly and it desolved in white power.
"Well Xaviar, it's not all that easy."
"What do you mean?"
"Well for one thing the offering needs to be made at night."
Xaviar looked in the sky to see the sun shining brightly on his face.
"It's still noon!"
"I know, I wasn't planning on meeting the Nidhogg here."
"So now what?"
"Well we have to wait untill nightfall so lets see if we can find any survivors."
Xaviar and Segnfiend scouted the remains of the burned and crushed village. Sadly they only found a few alive. Some elderly, a few children, but most dead. Xaviar walked away from the village to look at it from afar. "Our hometown completely destroyed..."
Just then Xaviar was tackled to the ground followed by a familar giggle.
"Hi!"
The girl embraced Xaviar tight from behind on the ground. Xaviar sighed, "Hello Vika."
"Aww, whats the matter? Aren't you glad to see me?"
Vika kissed Xaviar's cheek, but then he escaped from her grasp and stood up blushing. He tried to maintain a straight face which wasn't hard once he took a glimpse back at the village.
"Vika, theres been a tragedy."
Vika looked at Xaviar in concern, but looked past him to see what he was looking at. The burned village.
Vika gasped, "Oh my...How did this happen?"
Xaviar was about to explain when Segnfiend came running towards them. "Vika!"
Vika's attention turned to Segnfiend and her eyes lit up with joy.
"Segnfiend!"
They ran at each other and tackled with a hug, which Xaviar thought must of hurt, but he threw that thought in the back of his head. Vika let go and jumped up and down with glee. Her dark black hair bounced around her shoulders. She was wearing a black tunic with a Royal insignia, black jeans, and a katana with sheath at her side. Vika stopped jumping and looked back at Xaviar. Her purple eyes filled with concern again. "Xaviar, what was it that you were going to tell me?"
Xaviar took a quick look back at the village and said, "A Nidhogg attacked Midgard."
Segnfiend wrapped his arms around Vika with a sad expression on his face. "Everything was burned to the ground and there aren't too many survivors. I was lucky to be at Xaviar's at the time."
Vika caught her breathe. She looked up at her brother and he shook his head with his eyes closed. "Gran-Gran's dead Vika."
Vika started to tear up and she held Segnfiend's hand that was around her chest. She began to quietly sob with her head against him. "I'm sorry," he said. Segnfiend gestured Xaviar to look up in the sky as Vika was crying. He looked and saw that the sun was beggining to set. It was almost time. Segnfiend pulled Vika away and wiped her tears.
"Vika, Xaviar and I will be heading down to the Realm of Hel. We're going to try and bring Xaviar's brother back." Vika looked over at Xaviar who looked like he was going to start crying from the mention of his brother. Vika walked up to him and said, "I'm sorry." Xaviar looked away teary-eyed and said, "Like wise." Vika and Xaviar have both lost someone dear to them. Vika was sad about her grandmother, but she was prepared for this because she was already sick and close to dying. However, Xaviar, wasn't prepared to lose his brother. The one he looked after and loved almost more then his own mother. Vika hugged him tight. Xaviar hugged her back with a tear sliuding down his cheek.
Vika whispered to him, "We'll bring him back." She let go of him and smiled.
Xaviar looked in the sky and watched the day die in birth of shadows. His attention drew back to his friends. "Lets go."

They walked back into the village and returned to the cliff where the dead Nidhogg was rotting. Segnfiend walked up to it and kicked it's body. "Damn thing."


ok that's all I'm writing for now I have a lot more I could add right now, but my fingers are freezing and hurting from typing DX so untill next time :]
