As Kari tucked her son into bed and kissed him goodnight he said "I love you mommy."
She smiled warmly and replied "I love you too Velsper."
Usually that would be the end of the conversation, but the little boy looked seriously at his mother and inquired "how much?"
Kari looked surprised for a second then answered him smiling.
"More than anything in existance has ever been loved. More than I love myself or a miser can love his wealth. I love you more than there are stars in the universe or fish in the sea. My love is stronger than the suns rays or any ocean storm. My love for you, Velsper Hotohori Endymion Reed, is more infinite than time itself sweetheart."
The little boy looked wonderously into his mothers fire-like eyes & then jumped up to hug her & kiss her on her cheek once more before snuggling back into his covers.
"That's how much I love you too. Good night mommy."
He yawned & closed his eyes.
"Good night my little prince."
She kissed his temple, turned off his bedside lamp, and left him to his beautiful dreams.
