Fantasy
Where do you go when you're asleep, a new world, or an image created in your mind, what if it was a dream, if you died, you would just wake up. However, what if it was another world, what if you died there, would you wake up in your bed...or would you pass away in your sleep?
"Do you think you dream when you're in a coma?" Arya asked, her young body walked with her mom, her small fair skinned hand held her mothers, her innocent grey eyes looking to her mother. She was a spitting image of the woman she walked with.
"Hm, that's a good question, I would think so." Her mother spoke looking down at the girl with a puzzled expression. "Why do you ask?" Arya looked away from her mother, biting her lower lip while her finger twirled through her long dark brown hair. "Well...I wonder if daddy was dreaming when he died..."
Arya was now eleven years older. Her tall slender body walked down the street away from her school as she laughed at a joke her friend had just said, waving farewell to them. The snow littered the ground and fell from the sky, kissing the top of her hair. Her eyes looked away from her friends as she crossed the road. Arya loved winter, she loved the snow and how gentle it was, but soon that wouldn't matter, soon she would find out that you really do dream when you're in a coma.
The look of horror caught her face as she heard a shriek of tires being slammed on the breaks. A truck skidded on the ice on the road before it stopped, however not before it had hit the young girls body. Her head hit the ground and cracked open, the snow turned red, and Arya's vision turned dark.
Do you think you dream when you're in a coma...I wonder if daddy was dreaming when he died...
Arya sighed as she sat up, startled to find that she was sitting in the middle of a grass field. Her eyes looked around as her hand felt the back of her head, she was fine? How could this be, where were the cars, the sounds, her friends, the snow? Was she dreaming? Her eyes lingered as she looked around, there was nothing but snow covered mountains in the very distance, trees near by, a river a few yards away and the sound of hooves coming towards her as a horse and rider sprang from the near by woods.

Western
Arya sighed as she looked outside. There was nothing, it was dead silent. A shiver ran across her spine as her grey eyes peered out the window to her house. She was young and was nervously biting her lower lip. Her father stood outside with another man, the clock quickly stuck and rang, and then there was a shot and her father fell. She stood up and ran out the door, screaming as the killer looked at her. "Daddy!" She screamed as she fell to her knees by his side. Her head was rested on his chest. The feeling of someone grabbing her was the only thing that pulled her away. Her eyes fell on the man who held a cattle prod. Suddenly her cry became louder before she fell silent, a mark burned into the skin of her right wrist.
It was thirteen years later. Arya was now nineteen and sitting at a table with the same man who had killed her father. She glared as her tall slender body was dressed in a crimson dress with a black corset. They were sitting on the first class seats of a train, black lace fingerless gloves covered the mark on her wrist as her eyes looked out the window. Her long dark brown hair fell in ringlets wishing for nothing more to rid herself of her master.
Sci fi
Arya sighed as she sat on a step under a cellar door. Her hands held up her head while her brown hair fell forward in front of her grey eyes. Her left hand slowly moved to pick up a small toy that she had lost many years ago that now lay under the rotting steps. It had seemed like forever ago. Her mind and body trapped under this door from what had happened years ago.
"Mommy! Mommy whats going on? Where is AJ!?" She screamed. She was nine. The sound of alarm bells rang through the air as people fled for what they would call safety. Little did they know that in an hour, their lush green city would turn into nothing but ruins and desert.
Her mother said nothing as her father opened the door and pushed them inside before closing the hatch as a young golden retriever pup ran into the crack before the door slammed shut. Arya wouldn't know that this would be her home for the next nine years. Six years later her father would take his own life, and two years after that, her mother would die of illness.
This was where Arya found herself. Her tall slender body sitting on a step as her older dog laid at her feet. Arya looked up as she heard the sound of voices, something she hadn't heard since her mother passed away. "People!" Arya spoke as she got up and tried to open the hatch. "Hello, hello...someone help!" Arya screamed, a dead tree blocking the door from opening.
Vampire or Werewolf
I never really considered what my mother would do with me. I had grown rebellious in the years when she split with my father. She had taken me to live with her and my grandparents while she tried to get a job. I began to drink, skip school and party all the time; it was my escape, the only way I could get away from the sorrow. My mother soon grew tired of me running away, not coming home for days, so finally she sent me to live with my father.
He lives in a small town, one of those places where everyone knows everyone and the closest shopping mall is a town away. He's quiet, still upset with the divorce though it was years ago, I don't think that he ever got over my mother cheating on him. He picked me up from the small airstrip a mile out of town and drove me to his house where he showed me my room and gave a small tour of it. It was nice, a bit bigger then small; a nice size for two people who barely spoke. After that, his pager went off. He was a firefighter so I barely saw him. Being the town was small; the fire station also went to other small towns around the area. This left me to explore the rest of the town on my own and this would be my first encounter with him.
Arya sighed softly as she walked through the town. People looked at her and smiled, saying hello. Already they knew who she was, the fire chief’s daughter. Lucky for her they didn't know of her past and why her mother sent her here. She simply smiled back awkwardly and continued on. The sun had just started to go down and a full moon was rising. Her tall slender body walked down a narrow path hidden in a small forest that led her to a lake. There were few people swimming there so she strayed away to an area where there was no one, at least she thought so. She walked near the shadow of a cliff and picked up a rock, throwing it into the water before turning as she heard someone behind her.
Modern Day Romance
Arya was young, a dreamer and most of all; a hopeless romantic. The thought of a knight in shinning armour upon a white horse filled her childhood daydreams while she allowed the world around her to continue on the way it was, most of the time her head was stuck behind a book while others played video games and lived their lives the way they wished.
However as she reached her high school years, she soon learned that life was nothing like that of one of her novels. She had never really been in a relationship (not a proper one) and when she was, it was never good. A rut and pattern had formed in her life. She would swear off men all together and focus on her school for a month or so before finding a new boy that caught her interest. Usually this boy would appear sweet and good but was far from that and the pattern would continue on. There had only been one boy in her life that had ever stayed the same and with her, her childhood friend (insert name) who had been one of the boys when he was young who played the video games. He (like her) had changed; he was on the football team and one of the more popular kids in school. Arya on the other hand was not a loner, though she wasn’t really popular. People knew her but she didn’t sit with the popular people.
Arya sighed softly as she sat on the bleachers. A light snow had started to fall through the dark night sky. Field lights lit up the football field while the game was in play. Arya was sitting on the top bleacher, her tall slender body wrapped in a small blanket while her fair skin was kissed with goose bumps. Her dark brown hair had a small thin layer of snow on top while her brown eyes looked to the field for any sign of her best friend as the whistle blew to end the game. Once more their team had won and all the cheerleaders ran to the field to congratulate their boyfriends. Arya remembered being one of those cheerleaders but thought nothing of it as she walked to the bottom of the bleachers trying to see over the crowd for the familiar face of her friend.
Modern Day Romance #2
I'm a big girl now; you're a big boy now.
Arya had been the quiet girl in school. She wasn't what you would have called popular but she wasn't the only one sitting in the loners table in the dark corner of the cafe. She had had a few friends throughout her years of high school; liking to keep to her close few friends instead of having a hundred people where were just able to make the list of "people you kind of knew". However, like most girls in high school, she had always had a crush on (your character) but was to shy and was sure that he didn't even know her name; to him, she was that girl in the back of the class, the drama geek.
It wasn't until a few years after school that everyone began to know her name. Arya was nineteen and had gone from the glasses wearing girl with a pony tail who always wore jeans and a plane t-shirt to a tall slender girl with long flowing dark brown hair and vibrant deep brown eyes with a fair skin complexion. She had ditched the glasses and wore contacts and had a fashionable style. Arya was now one of the top models as well as becoming a house hold name in acting.
It was her birthday and Arya was dancing in the middle of a popular night club with a few of her friends she had made and one who she had known since school. She laughed and smiled, just having a good time. One of her friends left to grab her coat as they made their way out from the club, ready to go home when Arya who had fallen behind bumped into her high school crush.
Romance.
The moon stands alone in the dark blanket of the night time sky. Alone, some say there is a story, one that happened long ago.
There was a girl and a boy. The girl lived on the moon, the boy was a spirit who was deeply in love with the girl on the moon. He would see her every night, when the sun would duck behind the horizon for the night. There he would spend the night with the girl, and both were deeply in love. However there was another boy, one who lived on the sun. He was a trickster of sorts and during an eclipse found out about the spirit boy and the moon girl and grew jealous of their love. One morning he went to the spirit. He claimed that for the girls birthday, she wanted flowers, but not any ordinary flowers; flowers from earth. Thinking this, the boy went to earth to get the flowers for his beloved, hoping to propose to her on her birthday. However, what he did not know was that once his spirit was on earth, he was trapped there.
Every night he would look up to the moon, thinking of the girl who he could never touch again. One night there was a new moon and he looked to the north star, the first star that he saw that night and made a wish; that one day he would be able to hold his love in his arms once more. Hearing this, and the sorrow in his voice, the Northern star granted his wish.
That night, there were reports of a moon rock that had struck the earth. However when people from a near by village went to see what it was, they were shocked to find a girl in the middle of the large crater with no memory of who she was or where she came from.
With all good things, there is always bad, and with his wish, there was a catch. He could see her, hold her, touch her and love her, but she would have no memory of who he was.
Guardian Angel
your character as the angel
Arya sat in the cold. Her fair skin was wet with raindrops and her dark brown hair clung to her cloths and exposed skin. She was alone, she felt like there was no one there for her. She was sitting on the bleachers of her high school, her deep brown eyes looking to the ground under her flip flop clad feet. Her wet jean shorts were less then comfy and her purple tank top clung to her skin.
This couldn't be happening, no, he couldn't be dead. They had been together since they were young and in a relationship since their seventh grade and now they had been a week away from graduation. Tears mixed with rain; he had died yesterday and her kind mother had only cared to tell her about this on her cell five minutes ago; her cell now covered in mud in a puddle on the ground. It hurt to breathe; her arms were wrapped around her stomach as she leaned forward and sobbed. They had plans to get married, talks about moving in. She was sure she would be sick and that’s when she looked up, thinking she saw him.
or my character as the angel
She lay in the hospital bed. It seemed like everyone who she knew was crammed inside of that tiny room. An IV ran through her fair skin, her deep brown eyes were heavy and tired. That’s when (you're character) walked in. Everyone looked up. His mother had called him only ten minutes ago and already he was there from the other side of town. Her mother and everyone looked at each other before leaving the room so that the two could be alone.
Both knew that she didn't have much time. She had been hit by a truck when crossing the road after the driver had run a red light. The only thing keeping her alive was the oxygen mask that she wore over her face and already she knew how she wanted to die. She wanted no words from his lips, none. It would kill her faster if he said good-bye. She simply wanted him to take off that mask and kiss her one last time. With the little strength she had, she lifted her hand for him to take.
