The director of the film was asked what the key themes of the movie was, he replied:


1. The third movie is about recurrence of the origin/starting point (of Ichigo and Rukia).

and
2) Ichigo's feelings towards Rukia.


So it is offical.... There will never be a Orihime X Ichigo
it will be a Rukia X Ichigo and
