I was one my bus going home one day..and I started thinking about how I think that life is. Then it hit me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I thought:
Think of yourself as a shallow body. This shell is grown, but you are still a baby.
This shell is completely blank. It has no gender and no color. It's just albino white and has NO features at all.
This shell of you is walking through a dark hallway. There are no lights as you feel along the walls. These walls only come as you touch them. The only way to open these doors...is to learn.
For example: Let's say that your first observation of the world is that you HAVE to breathe. You then open this first in your hallway in the path through life. Also in this dark, dark hallway, your first of THOUSANDS of lights come on. Your shell then earns a nose. When you learn that your gender, your shell gains a gender and all of the appendages and organs that go with it.
With the mental changes, face expressions come as well as thoughts and reflexes.
Example: You figure out what you fear the most. Your shell develops the expression and emotion of cowardice towards this. Let's say you have a huge phobia of snakes. You develop a great fear of snakes. You can not watch movies with snakes in them, you hate looking at pictures of snakes, you despise toy snakes and the real thing nearly gives you a panic attack. The feature of sweat, at this point, can appear on the shell's face as a feature to the cowardice emotion. In the hallway, yet another lights flashes on as you open yet another door.
As you slowly become more and more aware of life, the path through life grows brighter one light turns on at a time and the doors swing open. These doors stay open for easy access into your mind for the reactions that are necessary,,,or unnecessary at times. sweatdrop
At the end of your life, what used to be a shell of you if now grown and is now actually who you are, though still as young as teen. It has ALL of your features: eyes, hair color, body figure. Everything. In your final hours, this figure is at the end of the hall. It has no more doors to open and all of the lights have been switched on to make everything clear. But just as these lights are finally on, they begin to shut off as you slowly die, though the doors stay wide open.
This is merely how I think of life as it came to me in a matter of 5 minutes of deep thinking, so could always be wrong. ^_^"
