Having been abandoned by the woman, the girl looked around. "I'm not at home. Last time I checked my house was not this small ...and I wasn't almost as tall as the ceiling." Wiping hair behind her ears, she looked around.
Edging towards the door, she opened it and gasped. Outside, even though you could hear nothing with the door closed, was a large party. Lights were swinging about as if there were a large wind blowing at a string, when there was no wind and no string holding them up. People were wearing so many colors and grand dresses.
Walking out of the house, she saw the woman disappearing into the crowd. Stepping lightly, she was cut off by a tall man, with a dog-ish face. He was wearing a pirates white shirt, and tight fitting maroon pants. "Do you live there?" He asked in quite a low voice.
"I- No. I don't. I'm trying to get home." Trying to move past him, he followed and grinned. "Sir, I would like to get past you."
"You're the girl that those witches brought back, aren't you." At the girl's open mouth, he grinned. "I'm Waran. They did not manage to tell anyone else your name. They thought you had died."
"My name? It's Abriana. Where am I though?" As she continued to look around, she noticed that the trees seemed to be dancing. So many things didn't make sense to her. Why were trees dancing, how were lights moving on their own, and ... "Witches?"
"Welcome to your kingdom." Waran grinned.
