Jazz feared for her life. She had no idea what she was getting into, but welcomed it as much as she feared it.
"Hold still." said her friend, Bianca, as she lowered Jazz's mother's circlet onto her head.
"You look gorgeous, Jazz." said Natasha, staring at her. Jazz felt her face warm up.

"Shaddup." she mumbled. Natasha and Bianca looked at each other and laughed.

Today was Jazabelle's wedding day. After a whirlwind romance with a newcomer named Nicolae, she was getting married to him, which surprised even her.

She had been on the run from the Kuro gang for accidentally killing Cordell's sister and went to Barton to atone for it by killing the man who had stolen The Mother's necklace.

He stopped her from killing him by seducing her and they fell in love. For almost a year, they were blissful.

Then came Moira. Why she was in Barton was a mystery, but she was, and she attempted to sink her claws into Nico. He was unwilling, but after Jazz caught Moira trying to force him into kissing her, she had had enough. Ian and Logan had to constrain her to keep her from reaching for her gun and blowing a hole in her head.

She had given Nicolae an ultimatum to either marry her or leave her, and now here she was.

"C'mon, Jazzabelle." said Bianca, placing the veil on her head. "It's time."

Jazz's heart accelerated.

"I for one, cannot believe you are tying Nicolae of all people down." said Natasha. "Devin is so jealous of you."

"Damn right I am." said Jazz's best man, who was giving her away. She grinned at him as she slipped her arm into his.

"As I've already made it known to Moira, he's mine." she said playfully. Devin feigned a pout then smiled slyly as the music started.

Jazz paled, her heart racing, the one question she'd been asking herself all day surfacing. 'Will he be there?'

They entered the church and she looked down the aisle. Her heart soared as she saw his beautiful blue eyes shining back at her. He wore a suit, although he still wore his hat. She smiled at him and his eyes widened. He slipped his hat off and it seemed as if he were crying.
