Zapook had dragged herself into the lounge room sluggishly and plopped down on the couch next to Zee, who sat like a lump on the couch and stared at the television. Zee was half naked, half asleep, and had Yinxao's kitten like form curled up on her head.
Laughing, Zapook reached up and stroked the top of Yinxao's head. "So that's where she's been."
"Yep...She won't leave me alone...But this is better than earlier, when she was clinging to Tina's a**." Zee said with a grunt. "So what do you want?"
"Nothing much. Just taking a break from my books." Zapook shrugs, then sniffles a bit as she holds back a sneeze.
Zee stares at her counterpart, "You look like you were in a wreck..."
"I'm sick, damnit, shut up..."
Quickly changing subject, Zee pointed up to Yinxao. "How about changing her back to her former self so she won't be so clingy."
"Eh. Later. I got things I need to take care of. Like getting a cup of coffee and costume plans. Which reminds me. What are the 'HalloweeNekos" doing for Halloween this year?" Zapook calmly says with a grin.
Shooting to her feet, Yinxao falling off her head, Zee shouted, "HOLY HELL!! HALLOWEEN'S COMIN UP!"
Zee took off down the halls, frantically calling her sister's name and stopped at the door of Tina's room with a huge smile on her face. "Tina! It's October! We gotta get ready for Halloween! We need costumes! And need plans! And why are you under your covers..?"
Tina was hiding under the blankets of her own bed and shivering. "I refuse to leave my room, let alone this home of mine. My apologies, sister dear, but you must do the shopping this year, or at least take care of the problem outside."
"Problem?" Zee mumbled as she walked to the front door. Ekone was sitting on the front step with the door wide open. Zapook's blue grunny, Boem, was running about darting from bush to bush.
Zee sat next to Ekone, nudging him, "So...What's goin' on? Tina won't leave her room."
Ekone only smiled. You'll see.
"Just tell me."
Standing in front of bush, Wolven yells 'GRUFF!' at the top of his lungs, And koopling scrambled out of the bush, sitting in front of Ekone and panting.
"Oh...Yeah...so the ankle biters are playin' hide and seek. Oooo....scary.." zee growls mockingly as Boem hops over to another bush, grunting once more. Fluffles, their baby chick, darted out and ran over to the front step, chirping happily as she made herself comfy at Ekone's side.
Boem then hopped over to the next step, perching himself in front of it and yelling once more.
Zee laughed. "Lemme guess...Wolven's playin with him now?"
Ekone grinned, "Wolven's afraid of Boem, remember?"
"Ok...so who's he lookin' for?"
Out of the large bush, dozens of white glowing foxes poured out, scurrying around the front of the house and leaving Zee absolutely speechless. Not too long after the creatures' exciting entrance, everyone except Tina had gathered at the front step to witness the display.
Wolven, Boem, Fluffles, and Yinxao had joined in the frolicing while the others just watched in amusement. Zapook and Zee then realized they had made the surrounding forest their new home, and while they had no problem with it, Tina was still terrified of them. They realized that Tina's fear of canines still hasn't subsided.
Zee didn't question their arrival....Instead...she began to scheme, and only showed it through the grin that was slowly growing on her face. Noticing this smile, Zapook instantly began to growl at Zee, "I don't know what you're planning, but I don't like it already."
"Actually...It Involves our halloween plans. No one's gettin hurt...much. These guys are obviously friendly, soooo.....why don't we get Tina acquainted with our fox friends?"
"Well...I shouldn't be doing any heavy lifting..."
"I give you three gallons of blood from my next town raid."
"Deal."
Moments later, Tina was thrown outside, squealing as the playful foxes surround her and begin to tug at her clothes and tail.
Zee just grinned and Zapook sighed, turning toward her counter part.
"So...if this works, we can continue with this plan of yours. I get that. And if this doesn't work?"
"Then Tina will continue running around and will probably be emotionally scarred from this whole thing. Either way, I win."
