I felt cold sitting there in front of the computer, I got up and walked towards the window as I reached it I felt cold air blow against my face that made me shiver. When I reached the window I noticed that it was already closed, that made me wonder where that cold air came from. I walked over to my bed and picked up my dressing gown and put it on over my pajamas, just as I fastened the belt around it I heard a knock on the door downstairs. I decided to walk down the stairs being careful not to fall this time, I reached the door and slowly opened the door and looked at who was standing on the otherside of the dark green front door.

"Trick or treat" shouted two young kids as I just opened the door. "Can you not read a calander properly, its the 30th not the 31st" I said in a low voice. "yeah 'course we can dude, its just we can't get round all the houses in one night" one of the kids said trying to not laugh. One was dressed up as a vampire, he had make up on, it made his lips stand out from his pale white face, he also had the fake blood that you normally buy from one of the joke shops you normally find in town. He looked like he was struggling to keep his fake vampire fangs in his mouth, so he left the talking up to his friend. His friend was dressed up as a zombie, he had a torn his shirt and pants in some places to make it look like he had been attacked, he must have borrowed the fake blood off his friend and by the looks of it went overboard when using it. He actually looked like he had been in a fight and been on the losing side of it, I turned my attention back to the vampire and chuckled slightly, he looked at me funny.

"Did you ask your mum for permission before using her make up kit, or is she used to you using it now?" I said trying not to laugh. Even with all the white face paint on it was easy to tell that the kid was embarassed, his friend tried to stick up for him. "Oh ha ha, look at you already for bed, guess its bedtime for you soon" he said laughing at me. I noticed a bucket of cold water next to the doorway, that was set up for a prank tomorrow night, thats when I thought of it. "nah, not really kid, I just had to change since I got caught in the rain, but I can see you aren't going to leave without some candy, wait there while I got get some" I said, shutting the door just slightly. "Oka...." I heard one one of them mutter.

I picked the bucket up gently and held it tight at the side, I held it high so they couldn't see what was in it. "you remember why I said I'm wearing my pajamas?" I asked them waiting to see if they would tell me what they said first time. "Yeah cos you have to go to bed soon lil kid" he said laughing. I felt a grin spread across my face, the two kids must have seen it and they started to back away from the doorway. I swung the bucket towards the two kids and the cold water flew towards them, it hit them directly in the face, I seen them begin to shiver. "Looks like its your bedtime too" I said as I slammed the door shut, but not before taking one last look at the two kids. The face paint from the one dressed as a vampire was slowly dripping off his face along with the fake blood, and the other kid was staring at the ground.

I went back up stair and sat at the computer searching websites for an hour listening to loud rock music, so I didn't fall asleep infront of the computer. After a while I shut the computer off and took the plug out of the socket and placed it on the floor. I went trough to the bathroom and switched the light on, I felt the cold marble tiles against my feet. I finished brushing my teeth and went back to my room, It seemed warmer now, so I took my dressing gown off and put it over the chair in the corner of my room. I went and got into the bed and began to drift off to sleep, waiting for tomorrow to arrive. My eyes were heavy and I fell asleep within the first 10 minutes and began to dream about the next day.
