Aussa was out in the garden again, doing what she was appointed to do with about nine other girls. Zapook was happily watching the group while sitting on the castle wall in the courtyard. Only one or two days had passed and every single person knew of Zapook's existence now. Everyone except Ivy and the beast in the back of the castle.
Speaking of, You're probably wondering what happened to Zee and Tina. Tina and Zee quickly ran out of that room, and they both made their way out of the throne room, seemingly unnoticed. Seemingly. They were called to the throne a short time later, and lectured about messing with that very door. Other cat girls that were in the room at the time were dismissed, and grabbing both Zee and Tina by the tails, Ivy dragged them toward the door once more. Once it slammed shut, all that was left in the room were four trails left by claws digging into the ground.


For the next few days, Zee and Tina were no where to be found, and Aussa became worried, yet Zapook showed no sign of doubt or distress over the situation.

Aussa became more distant from the girls she usually chatted and laughed with while working, and Zapook only sat in the patch of flowers, blankly staring up at the sky.

Getting frustrated with how contempt Zapook was, she blurted out, "You know...not to be rude, Ms. Pookie, but how can you stay so calm? We hadn't heard hide nor hair of either Zee or Tina in almost four days. I'm getting worried."

Zapook grinned, "You worry too much. Stop and smell the flowers, Aussa! ...And don't call me Pookie."

"They're missing!"

"They're fine. If they were in trouble, like big trouble, I'd be the first to know."

"Oh? You know what, You said that to me before. Remember? April Fool's day a long time ago?"

Zapook sat back, propping herself up with her arms and sighing happily, "Oh yeah...Ha! I remember! I had scared ya good that day...Besides, they came home a short time after."

"They came home bandaged up!"

"You think I didn't know something had happened to them?"

"Ok then miss know-it-all," Aussa snapped, leaning against the very hoe she was using to tend to the gardens, "How can you be so sure?"

"Ok...Who am I?"

"...What?"

"Who am I."

"Um....Zapook?"

"Not my name, I mean, what am I?"

"A vampire?"

"No! ...Plus I'm half vampire. I mean who am I in relation to Zee!"

"Oh! Aren't you....well...Her?"

"Exactly." Zapook nods, grinning, "Like it or not, We're linked, Zee and I. If something happens to her, I could no longer exist in this dimension."

"...Really? What would happen to you."

Zapook shrugs, "Either I'd be forced back to my own dimension, or I'd probably just die off or disappear for good.."

"Wow...What if you were to die instead?"

"Huh...I don't know. Nor do I care to find out."

"So you know Zee's alive?"

"If she wasn't, I wouldn't be here."

Zapook's words put Aussa in a calmer state and she gladly went back to handling the gardens.


Ivy had left the two cat demons with the large canine for a few days now, and was happily skipping to the door behind her throne.
The site before her made her scream loud enough to shake the entire castle. Her scream wasn't out of fear, shock, or horror, but out of sheer anger.

The large beast she had entrusted with the cat demons' demise was happily curled up around a sleeping Tina, while Zee laid on it's back, both were purring happily in a serene state of mind until hearing Ivy's shriek.

As the beast reared up, Zee jumped down, tackling Ivy out of the room and growling, "Will you shut up! ...You'll wake my sister."

A force pushed Zee off of Ivy as she took flight and hovered several feet about the ground, ready to strike Zee down. As she does so, Just about every cat girl in the castle came crowding into the throne room in response to Ivy's yell. Aussa and Zapook were among the group, staring up at the infuriated Ivy as Tina comes out of the room, rubbing her eyes. Growling, and realizing a fight wouldn't do any good with thier current situation, Zee quickly shoved Tina back into the room as Ivy flew after them in a rage. The other girls instinctively follows only to end up staring in awe at the large coyote in the dark room.

Ivy was still on the war path, but was quickly stopped by a gently voice ringing out in the room, "No...That is enough, princess..."

Staring in surprise, Ivy made her way toward the beast's face and calmly pet it's muzzle, "But...Why? You didn't..."

"I know sweetheart..." The beast muttered, "There is ...something I've been meaning to tell you..."


"GREAT! MORE SECRETS!" Zapook shouts as she pushes her way through the crowd with Yinxao following close behind. She was practically hissing as she stormed toward Zee, taking her by the collar of her robe and shaking her furiously, "So this is where you were hanging out! Scaring the hell out of both me and Aussa! What in God's name is wrong with you!"

Aussa's eyes went wide as she made her way through the crowd as well, "But...I thought you weren't worried..."

Zapook ignored Aussa's words, and was quickly slapped across the face by Zee, spinning and falling to the ground on her hands and knees.

Zee growled and straightened her robes, "Nice to see you too, you goit..."

Ivy's anger turned to frustration as she continued to question what had happened, and the other girls were lost in a state of confusion.

The beast mumbled something low toward Tina, and Tina nodded, waving her hands in front of the crowd as she cried out, "Please! Please! There is a logical explanation for all this! May I please Have your attention!"

The confusion became loud cries and yells amongst the group, but all went silent as Zee let out a roar loud. Even the coyote jumped in surprise at the sound.

Ivy landed next to Zee, glaring up at her as she demanded, "You...You cursed cur...Explain yourself!"

The coyote growled down at Ivy, "Manners, princess..."

She looked up at him, then lowered her head, mumbling, "Yes, Poppa..."
