Days die away and leave behind a simple number in their absence
Weeks find you changing into what you want so much to become
Years wave to you while you point and laugh in their face
Life is true to you in spite of an empty product they've left after its death
Time will never stop to care what anyone does with it

Feel the days go by like shadows in your darkness
Hear the thoughts in misplaced judgment of memory in your head
Taste the sweet sound of words said in bitter resentment
Look inside your heart to find what you're missing today

Fighting for a chance to relieve having no reprieve
