So, the time has come! I am now going to show you all a few of the glory moments from ConnectiCon 2008!! [^-^]

FRIDAY
Me and my friend, Mike, cosplaying Hunny and Mori while advertising for ConnectiCon: The Musical!
Everyone loved my Yaoi sign, and periodically stole borrowed it for pictures. [:'D]
A picture of the Venture cast from ConnectiCon: The Musical! And, yes, Dr. Girlfriend was played by a guy. [>D]

SATURDAY
My sister. She cosplayed Orichalcos Mai Valentine all weekend, but I think this picture was taken on Saturday. She wants to go as Yuuri next year with me as Wolfram. [xD]
My friend, who played Edward Elric in ConnectiCon: The Musical! She was really excited about finishing her Zuko cosplay and showing it off. (She also helped to host the Masquerade on Saturday.)
Zuko (lol) threatening the actual hosts of the Masquerade: TEAM ROCKET!! [xD]

SUNDAY
I cosplayed as Yuugi Moto both Saturday and Sunday, but I like the Sunday pictures better. (My sister persuaded me to go as "Sexy Yuugi" on Sunday, with a shirt and a tie. [xD] People still loved it, so I'm cool with that. Oh! And, yes, I used my actual hair for this cosplay. And, yes, it was tedious to do. [xD])
Sunday was the day of CosPlay Chess. These were the Black Team's King (Sweeney) and Queen (Lovette).
The White Team! I was part of the White team. Our King was Jack Skellington and our Queen was Sally. (The King was also my Mori during the Ouran cosplay and Musical on Friday. Even better, he proposed to his girlfriend -Sally- during the Masquerade on Saturday -- she said yes, of course. [^-^])
My first fight sequence. I was a pawn, versus the Black Team's pawn, Riku. What did I do? I summoned back the dead White Team chess pieces with Monster Reborn. [>D] I won that round, but that was already pre-decided. [^^;;] Needless to say, the audience went crazy, hahaha.
Ah, yes... My second and last battle sequence: My death! [xD] The queen was told to kill me, so what did I do? I called upon the power of the Equip Magic Card, "YAOI PADDLE"!! [xD] The audience went even crazier for that, hahaha. Unfortunately, Yuugi doesn't know how to fight physically, because he always duels with cards. [>w<]
Lovette used Sweeney as her special attack, so I died a dual death. (lol, No pun intended.) [xD] It was funny, because they both didn't really want to kill me - I was one of their favourite characters in Chess, even though I was on the White Team. [:'D] It's okay, though. I plan on getting 'revenge' next year (if it's possible) as Wolfram von Bielefeld. [>D]
Oh - and the White Team won. WOOOO!!
Lastly, this is the opening to ConnectiCon: The Musical! It was rather funny, so I thought I'd share it:

Sugoisugoisugoi! Those are so amazing biggrin I'm jelous! Your looked adorable in all your cosplays! I love the Hunni one *glomp* I imagine you were glomped so much it must have gotten painful. And the chess game must have been fun. I feel for one of my first loves at a Renaissance festival chess game. I got to whip him razz Then he locked me in a jail post-whipping and said the punishment was buying him dinner. Ah! I love forceful guys, ne? The cons I've been to have been kind of small, the kind that only take a day to do. Not too many things like a chess-game. I'm watching the chess game on youtube now razz
Edit: (Posted this comment on Dooger's page for some reason)I hope to make it up to Atlanta in Sept. for AWA, it's my hometown convention and my favorite > wink Let see, you actually styled you hair to look like Yuugi's? Crazy... ^^ That Mai looked smokin' too!
