Journal Time!
Well, some stuff has happend since I last wrote a journal. I saw a few movies. The first one I saw was the highly anticipated The Dark Knight. Don't get me wrong, it was a very good movie but it was over hyped in my mind. I wouldn't really see it more than twice. Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was everything I expected and more. I was at the edge of my seat everytime The Joker had a scene. Over all, I gave the an 8.5 out of 10 because some parts weren't really needed.
The next movie I saw was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. In no way can you compare this movie to The Dark Knight, but it was pretty good in it's own right. It had everything the first Narnia had except a differnt story. The dialouge, character development, and the fight scene were almost identical to the first. But, like the first, Aslan save the movie. I gave this film a 6 out of 10.
The last movie I've previously seen was The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. This movie should not have been made. It just didn't have the vibe that the first Mummy had. I didn't like any of the scenes with Rick and Eve because they tried too hard to be funny, but it didn't work out well. Alex was all grown up and his character was really good. Honestly, they could've done the story without Rick and Eve and just Alex. I will also not that the Yeti were not what I expected at all. Of coarse, all the scenes with Jet Li were good. I don't think I had a problem with his character, but his fight scenes could have been longer. I would have also liked to see a battle with General Ming and the Emperor. Over all, I give this a 5 out of 10.
And, a few days ago I went to Darian Lake with my good friend Dallas. It was so over whelming because I hadn't been to Darian Lake in like four years, so I didn't realize how much there was to do. I won alot of cool toys from all the games and I went on a bunch of rides. Dallas and I waiting for over an hour to ride The Superman in the front two seats, and it was worth every minute waiting. I lost my voice for a bit after screeming on that ride. The adrenaline ran through my body even after the ride was over. I would have done it again but we had to go.
