Shot through the Heart Walking on ice Cold all the time No warmth comes A smile never covers The face of loneliness Winter is inviting Summer is cruel Fall is my soul Spring is the end Cries of him Echo with the wind The tears I shed Start falling back to me Lights flashing Blinding my sight I’m lost again The sun shows hate ridge The moon wraps me tight The stars watch me close And the clouds carry The heart that is no more For I feel in love And it wasn’t time The man I thought I knew Was no more then a lie His words they use to calm But now haunt my mind I use to hold his hand When there was no one for him But we were both Shot through the Heart
