Story Idea...
A boy moves to a small town full of boutiques and rich people with his semi-famous musician father. He gets a job doing yard work for a mysterious woman. While going about his life in a new town, he makes a group of friends who inform him of the weirdness of the woman he works for... and her daughter. The mother apparently is reclusive and making her daughter the same way. What no one knows is that the mother actually has several mental disorders: obsessive compulsive disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder. Few people have actually seen the daughter, but everyone knows which window belongs to her bedroom. The boy is intrigued, but continues with his job. After a few days of nothing happening, he starts to lose interest, but keeps watching her window. One day, the other employees are playing music on a break. They get the boy to play. As he sings, a girl appears in the window. She stays and watches the boy, but as soon as the song is over, she disappears. Every day after, the boy plays his guitar near her window and she listens. Eventually, he starts to talk to her, although she never talks back. He tells her the story of his life and what is going on right now. One night, as the boy sleeps, the girl sneaks into his room and starts to tell him of the world she lives in. It's a magical world unknown to the outside world. She tells him to come to her room the next night. He manages to sneak in and sees that everything she said is true. Somehow, the mother knows what is going on and forbids the two from seeing each other. She locks the girl up in the basement, but keeps the boy employed just to keep him under her nose. She tries to seduce him because she cannot believe that he was really in love with her daughter. The boy goes to find the girl and they escape into the magical world where they live happily ever after...
