I was half-awake with my iPod music playing in the background and staring at the cut on my left arm. I know I should've gotten up&gotten ready. But there was that part of me that just wouldn't let me. I couldn't stop thinking about yesterday. How Kenichi said that he didn't want me anymore. After all these months I've wasted. AndI know exactly what Mika would say when I got to my locker. "Oh Anika! Just forget about him! He's just a another piece of ******** s**t that doesn't doesn't deserve you! And you know that's true. It's his loss!"
FLASHBACK.
Today, Sunday, May 27th was Anika & Kenichi's 9th month anniversary. And Anika wanted to surprise Kenichi in the morning with a surprise breakfast and a surprise gift. But it's going to be Anika who's getting a surprise.
Anika: Hey Kenichi! Good morning& Happy 9months!
Kenichi: Huuh? What? OH s**t!
Anika: Don't worry it's ----- Who's that?
Kenichi: Uhh... Well...
Chiyo: Hey, you're up early. Hey, who's that?
Kenichi: Uhhh... I don't know who she is! Probably another one of my Mom's friend's daughter!
Anika: I'm his girlfriend. I have been for eight, ahem, nine months as of today.
Kenichi: Anika? Can I speak to you in the hallway?
*Walks out of the room.
Anika: Okay, I want a full explanation, and I want it now.
Kenichi: I've been meaning to talk to you about this.
Anika: What are you talking about?
Kenichi: *Starts to turn around* You're not worth my time.
Anika: *Grabs Kenichi's arm* Tell me what you're talking about!
Kenichi: Okay, I'm gonna make this simple. I don't want you anymore. Now leave. And goodbye.
Anika: *Tears flowing in her eyes and down her face* ...You... youdon't want me anymore...?
Kenichi: Nope.
Anika: *Starts sobbing* ...But, why though...?
Kenichi: Stop wasting my time, and leave.
Anika: ...But... I don't understand...
Kenichi: You don't have to understand. Now get out of my house.
Anika: *Starts running out of the house sobbing&calls Mika; her bestfriend.
...Mi, Mika...? Kenichi says that he.. her doesn't... want me anymore...
Mika: Oh Anika! Are you okay?
Anika: Does it seem like I'm okay?!
Mika: Where are you? I'll come pick you up!
Anika: No. I can take of myself this time. Bye. *Hangs up the phone.
*Gets into the car and cries her eyes out while driving.*
*She goes back home*
Anika notices that she's alonein the house and fines a note from her mother.
Anika darling,
Your father, sister, and Iare going out but we won't be back until late tonight.
Take care of yourself and trynot to burn the house down please.

Mama.
She looks through her stuff and takes a razorblade from the table & locks her self in the bathroom. She won't stop sobbing. And she cuts herself using the blade. She makes her mind believe that the life she's living is ******** up. The blade breaks skin and the blood soon stains her white shirt. She believes that she doesn't deserve to live... Anika goes back into her room trying to make the blood stop. And it soon did. It was late now and her family would be back any minute. So, she took a shower andgot ready for bed and school next morning. She stared at her cut on her left armuntil she finally fell asleep.
