Part One
As April lays in bed with her window wide open she can hear the sirens going off.-April for some reason could never handle sirens they reminded her of death too much,she couldn't handle hospitals either for the same reason.
April got up and shut her window and thought that the sirens could be for somebody she knows maybe it's for her parents, maybe dad had another seizure again and fell on the floor and cracked his head open.April shook her head and whispered out loud "Damn my stupid overactive imagination."
April went back to bed, then heard a grumbling sound from her stomach, then went downstairs trying to keep quiet from waking anybody up. April turned to look at the clock, April tried to see what time it was but couldn't make it out exactly what it said. "12:15am." April went into the kitchen and made a peanut butter sandwich on texas toast, then went over to the computer and typed in the password and went on AIM instant messaging.
Then a screen popped up
Lawlessfighter(12:19:30am): April go to bed.
irockursocks1241(12:21:19am): But Lance I can't sleep...
Lawlessfighter(12:24:15am):Go lay down you need your rest.
irockursocks1241(12:28:58am): *Munches on a peanut-butter sandwich* But I can't sleep or rest I MISS YOU!
Lawlessfighter(12:29:12am): I miss you too. But you will see me tomorrow.
irockursocks1241(12:30:15am):True but let me finish my sandwich first.
Lawlessfighter(12:30:45am):Ok well Funkel wants me to play a game with him.
irockursocks1241(12:31:18am): Well can't he wait until I'm done with my sandwich?
Lawlessfighter(12:34:21am): Mk
irockursocks1241(12:39:35am): Done! But what time are you coming over tomorrow?
Lawlessfighter(12:39:39am): First one up calls the other person.
irockursocks1241(12:40:12am): Ok well I should go to bed LOVE YOU!
Lawlessfighter(12:40:23am): Love you too!
irockursocks1241(12:40:33am): Muah!
Lawlessfighter(12:40:35am): smile thanks Sweet dreams doll.
April signed off her AIM and put her plate away and crawled back up the stairs and laid in bed and gazed up at the ceiling.
The next morning April woke up to a phone call. It was Lance she thought, he said he was going to be on his way over in a few minutes.. April quickly got dressed but noticed something different about her house. It was way too quiet this morning.April quickly ran down stairs 8:30 am in the morning mom was usually making breakfast by then. April ran into check on her little brother Nathan, nothing. .. . bed was made and looked like nobody laid in it for weeks.
April ran into her parents room, nothing. she ran outside and looked around and all she saw was grass lands, some forrest and a river her house looked like it was the only one for miles around. Then April noticed the discoloration everything was black and white like in a old picture.
then the black and white color started to flicker back to it's original color.
The flashing stopped. April looked down at a paved road. BEEP! BEEP! Then she heard a loud scream then everything was a blur.
The next thing April knew she was in the hospital... she could hear the doctors talking.When April opened her eyes the first person she saw was Lance and his deep blue eyes peering through his thick spectacles and little tuffs of facial hair on his chin and on the side of his big chubby cheeks and his dark brown hair.
"Wha-What happened?"
Lance looked down his face was as white as paper.
"You got hit by a car, I was the first one to see it, when I was walking toward your house."
Lance took a deep breath and continued "I didn't call because I thought you would like it if I suprized you."
April looked at Lance in a confused way "But the phone rang at my house and woke me up and I answered it and I thought it was you because the voice said they'd be over in a few."
April's mom walked over next to Lance and she said "Hunnie.. .. April the phone didn't ring at all this morning."
"Mom...How long have I been here?"
"Just a couple hours."
"Can we go now? I'm fine I swear!"
"We can't leave until the doctor says we can"
April looking at her mom in disbelief, sat up in her bed and turned to her mom and asked
"Where is Dad and Nathan?"
Her Mom answered "He is at home with Nathan."
Then April turned to Lance and asked "Mom can Lance and I be alone for a few minutes?"
"Sure hunnie."
April watched her mom leave the room and made sure she closed the curtain and slidy door.
"Lance..."
"Yes my love?"
April took a minute to think things over and then spoke,
"I know your going to think I'm crazy once you hear this, but I didn't know I was in the middle of the road."
"How could you not know-" April interrupted Lance telling him the whole story about how when she first got out of bed to the end where the flickering started.
"April... You didn't go through that you were sleepwalking."
"NO! NO I WASN'T!"
"April,baby-doll I didn't call at all everyone was hoe, if I didn't call who did?"
April looked down in a guilty way because of the way she yelled at her one true love. Lance put his hand on Aprils shoulder "It's my fault, I could of killed you not calling.."
"No it's not your fault nobody can change that I was hit by a car and YES! you did call this morning!" April insisted
"You believe me right Lance?"
"Of course I do it's just all of this doesn't add up."
"But-But it seemed all soo real."
"I know" Then Lance got up from his chair and gave April a kiss on her forehead. April smiled "Love you Lance."
"Love you too doll-face."
The next day the doctor let April out of the hospital
"Lance..."
"Yeah?"
"Do you...."
"Do I what?"
"Do you love me all the way with all of your heart?"
"Hmm...I don't really know exactly but I'll tell you one thing I do know."
"What?"
"That I love you a lot!"
April giggled at what Lance said then she blushes and got on her tiptoes and gave Lance a kiss on the cheek.
When April got in the car she saw a guy dressed in all black from head to toe and he was wearing a necklace that had an owls foot and in the owl's talons was a crystal ball. The strange man waved at April and April waved back
"Who are you waving at hunnie?" Aprils mom asked
"Don't you see the man outside my window?"
"No hunnie."
"What about you Lance do you see him?"
"Mmmm. . no sorry."
April looked at her Mom and Lance in disbelief then turned to look out her window when she looked out it the strange man was gone.
Then April shook her head and thought what's going on here? why is this happening to me? what is going on?
All of those questions made April tired so when she got home she went up to her room and collapsed in her bed and fell asleep. Five minutes later Lance came up to a sleeping April, he bent over her and gave her a kiss on the cheek and laid down behind her and pulled her toward him so he could bold her and make sure she's safe.
A hour later April woke up and in front of her was the same strange guy but he was holding a pistol and his pupils were catlike and the color red while around them it was black.
"Hello." the guys said
April looked at him and said shyly "Hi, who are you?"
"I am the angel of death."
April looked at him wide eyed
"That car could of killed you but I didn't want it to happen to you because you have a wonderful life ahead of you with Lance"
"Really?" April said in a suprized way
"Yes really, but you are wondering why you went back in time and you are also wondering who called you."
"Yes I am."
"Well I have answer to both questions, Lance didn't call you, I did and i brung you back in time so we could talk.My powers run out at sunrise to thats why you got hit by a car."
"So you're the one who called." April paused for a moment then spoke again "So how come other people can't see you?"
"Because everyone has their own angel of death."
"Well how come my boyfriend Lance isn't asking who you are right now?"
"Because i froze time, for you and me to talk one on one."
"Why? am i die or something?"
"No your boyfriend might though because he doesn't have an guardian angel to protect him from danger because the guardian angel protects their mortal."
"oh... So what now?" April asked
"Well i am just here to tell you that starting now you his guardian angel."
"oh, ok."
"but your also making up for your sin of cutting."
the angel paused and sat on the side of the bed. April looked down at the underside of her arm and wrists, she took the tips of her fingers over her scar. Each scar was rough against her smooth skin.
The angel put one hand on Aprils shoulder and said "but Lance helped you stop cutting, right?"
April looked up "Yeah but i didn't return the favor."
"Actually you did because you taught Lance to love, well you saved him from a miserable and lonely life."
April smiled showing that she agreed then she asked "What happens to the Angel of death when their mortal dies?"
"Well of course we get sent to newborns."
April took a second and said "Whats you name?"
"My name is Thor, but I have to go now so i will try to keep in touch."
"Bye Thor."
"Bye April keep well."
April laid her head back down and fell asleep for another hour and woke up
"Have a nice nap doll?" Lance asked
April smiled at Lance in a loving way.
"Yes a matter of fact i did."
"Whats that supposed to mean?"
April giggled "Nothing."
The next day April woke up with a smile on her face because she was going to Lance's house today.
April hurried down the stairs and went on AIM.
She read his away message, aww lance is sleeping! how cute!

April got off AIM and went of a walk gazing at the sky, she had soo many things on her mind, she took a pill out of her pocket. Her anti-depressant.
April tossed it in her mouth and swallowed, she took it even though she didn't need it but her doctor insisted she took it until October and tapered off from there
It seemed when April started taking these pills she had felt weak and sometimes would even stop breathing but the side affects only included stomach aches.
April looked down at her promise ring to Lance then stopped walking and paused she was finally here the alley.
Suddenly a hand landed on April's shoulder from behind her . April clenched her fist and turned around swinging at whoever touched her.
April swung her fist a hand caught it April opened her eyes it was Donni, his dark curly hair that went over his eyes, his tall skeletal think body dressed in all black his pale face with a little tuff of chin hair his glasses black covering his hazel eyes. Donnie's finger nails covered with chipped black nail polish, his nails sharpened to a point like a cat's.
then he said in a horse voice. "take it easy April."
"Sorry you scared me there for a second."
"Heh it's okay, so what are you doing in the alley's soo early in the morning the bar doesn't open until noon."
"I was just trying to find some alone time."
"oh well take these don't thank me I'm doing you a favor too many creeps hang around in these parts."
Donni handed April a pistol and a 10 inch pocket knife.
"Uhh thanks." April said
" If you need anything call out my name and i'll be there."
then donni disappeared in the shadows.
April sighed and looked at her right wrist that had a watch and some wrist bands and sex bracelets.
April sat on the pavement and dozed off. The next thing she heard was a door slam April opened one eye and looked around then opened both eyes
in front of her a man just got out of the bar.
"Hey kid come here kid."
April clenched her pocket knife and ignored him.
"KID I SAID COME HERE AND WHEN I SAY IT YOU BETTER LISTEN!"
The strange man came running toward her.
April stood up and dodged his attack and ran into the bar.
It was packed April hurried past the crowed and saw a glimpse of a kid wearing a sweatshirt that was brown and some genes his hair was a dirty blonde he had braces also he had these soft hazel eyes and a warm look on his face.
The kid ran up to April and said "Hi whats wrong you look scared."
April answered trying to catch her breath "A man is after me i don't know who he is but he is trying to hurt me help me please."
the kid answered "Of course i would help a girl like you whats your name I'm Kyle."
April answered "Im April now where can we hide?"
Kyle answered "Hurry this way" and grabbed Aprils hand and pulled her through the crowed and ended up by a door.
"Here hide in here i'll look for him ok?"
"But you don't know what he looks like!"
"ha-ha i think i should know what to look for a dude who looks like a child raper duh."
"Your right ok."
April closed the door and sat there thinking if she was really going to be safe here and thought if only she would of stayed home and waited for Lance to get up then she could be at his house by now.
April sighed and opened the door and looked outside the crowed was packed April thought it was safe to go out so she went out and BAM!
. . . April groaned and opened her eyes and found herself in a moving truck she was in the back of it "where am i?"
A voice answered "I see you are up."
"Whats going on who are you?" April said in a scared voice
"That is irrelevant to you who i am but you can call me Master."
April huffed "I would never call you that! Who do you think I am your slave?"
the man chuckled "I think you would be gratefully do that because if you don't i will kill you."
April laughed "I bet that Kyle kid is reporting you right now."
"HAHAHA! Your funny kid, your soo sure of yourself that kid wasn't captured as well?"
April glared at the man "Who are you what do you want with me? Where are we?Where are we going i have questions and i want answers!"
The man snickered "How dare you talk to me like that!" the man slapped April accrossed the face April showed no emotion to it and reached into her pocket for her cell phone....it was gone how could that be....oh no he went through my pockets...what if he found the pocket knife? April checked her sock where she had hid it. It was gone. April felt helpless but remembered that she hid her pistol Donni gave her in her bra. April checked and found it in there and April smiled
The man looked through his mirror and saw April smiling "Kid why the grin your being kidnapped? Get that grin off your face before i smack it off your face."
April laughed " I wouldn't talk to me like that if you want to live..." April pulled out the pistol the man looked at April and opened the back doors of the truck and pushed April out while the truck was still moving.
April tumbled in the gravel and got a couple scrapes on her body but looked at the license plate...it was covered up but it was a white van...April sighed and looked around she was in the middle of no where... April broke down and began to cry then everything around her stopped moving. It was Thor he had come to help her or at least save her.
"You got yourself into quite a mess didn't you."
April smiled "Yeah i guess i did could you help me at all?"
Thor nodded and pulled out this powdery substance from his pocket and blew it over April.
April looked at him confused "How is this supposed to help me?"
Thor laughed at April's reply " This is turning you into an angel an actual one with wings."
April looked at him confused "But i don't have wings right now."
Thor said "give it time you will have wings soon ok?"
"Which way is home?Where am i?"
Thor sighed "You are in New Hampshire you flew here on a plane because you were uncounsions so you didn't notice but i will help you on your way home."
April nodded gratefully "thank you."

The next day Aprils wings sprouted but they weren't normal they had the bone shown through and a black web around them while the tips were red.
"Interesting" Thor said
"What shouldn't they have looked like this?" April asked
"No you did sprout angel wings you sprouted demon wings but yet this shouldn't of happened i am not sure why it ended up like this but it did." Thor answered
"Thor where you ever a mortal at anytime in your life?" April asked out of curiosity
Thor chuckled "Yes, I actually was." Thor looked down and paused then continued "I was a long time ago I was also in love with a girl named Gwendolyn"
"What happened to her?"
Thor smirked "you're her reincarnation of her."
April looked at him suprized
"Suprizing isn't it? I found out by looking deep into your soul her soul lies within you. April you are Gwendolyn, I just never thought you would be her until i realized you and her are soo much alike the face the pretty blue eyes the hair the body especially the personality."
Thor leaned closer to April, the next thing April knew was that his cold gentle lips were pressing against her warm lips.
April closed her eyes and noticed she was in a trance and couldn't stop but yet it felt soo good.
April kissed back and hugged Thor. She knew it wasn't right because Lance she believed was her true love.
April got enough gut to pull away
"Pardon me." Thor said
"It's ok but are you sure that Lance is my true love?" April asked
Thor sighed "Do you really wish to know?"
April nodded "Yes I desperately need to know."
Thor looked up in the sky "Alright i will look deep into your soul just give me a minute."
Thor closed his eyes and opened his mouth and this black smoke came from his mouth and April couldn't help but the black smoke opened her mouth and went into her body. Then everything went black like a curtain covering her eyes that she couldn't lift no matter how many times she blinked.
Before April knew it, it was morning. April yawned "Why does my head hurt?"
Thor chuckled "Well do you want your answer or not?"
April gasped "OH YEAH! Yes i do want my answer."
"Ok brace yourself. Lance isn't your true love... you haven't found your true love yet but you do have a crush on me."
April looked at him "So is it me that doesn't love him enough? Or is it the other way around?"
Thor sighed "Its the other-way around you love him enough but he is in love with somebody else her name is Wycca."
"Oh... I guess i should go soul searching then for somebody else."
Thor nodded and placed in April's hand her cell phone "call him and tell him you guys are done."
April pushed the buttons and waited
"Hello?" a deep voice said
"Hi is Lance there?"
"This is, may i ask who is speaking?"
"Lance,Its April."
"APRIL! Everyone is looking for you where are you I miss you soo much i was soo worried."
April listened closely and heard someone giggling in the background
"who is there with you?"
"Oh its nothing just some of my friends."
April looked at Thor
Thor whispered "He lies he is with Wycca."
April sighed "You lie its a girl that is giggling who is she."
Lance to a moment to answer and said "Yes its a girl but its Sara."
"Lies lies lies Lance is that all you ever did to me I know who is with you its Wycca.LANCE WE ARE THROUGH!!"
April hung up and began to cry. Thor hugged her and said "Everything will be alright he doesn't know what he is missing that slut Wycca will only stay with him for a week then leave him trust me then he will be crawling back to you but you will be taken already."
"By who" April said whipeing a tear off her cheek
"that is irrelevant right now ok if you knew it could change the future."
"We have to get moving otherwise we will take forever to get home."April said
April spread her demonic looking wings which looked bigger than before and more evil.While Thor spread his wings which had black and blue feathers.
"April, I love you." Thor said
April looked back and said "I love you too but don't call me by that call me by Gwendolyn ok?"
"Al-righty."
Thor flew up next to april and gave her a hug while they were flying
"I feel soo alive" April said
"I noticed. Eh heh." Thor responded with a smile on his face
"Man I am so hungry." April looked down at her stomach which growled
Thor looked around for a place to stop "I don't see anything for miles, so we will have to keep flying, and Gwendolyn i need to let you know there is something we have been hiding you from..."
April looked at Thor confused. "What do you mean hiding from me what is it?"
Thor sighed "I will tell you next stop we take ok? I need to rethink of how to say it ok?"
April looked around pretending to forget what they were talking about "Umm ok."
A couple miles later April and Thor reached a gastation with a Mc Donald's inside.
"Now Gwendolyn we have to make sure your wings aren't visible" Thor said as putting on his trench coat on over his.
"oh ok." April put her wings down on her back as tight as she could get them and Thor handed an extra trench coat and she put it on over it.
April and Thor went and sat down at a table and sat there talking
"Gwendolyn, there is something I have to tell you I have been keeping from you."
"Yes, Thor what is it that you have been keeping from me?"
"Well, there is this thing that you have you are more than just an angel of mercy but you are also a mix of demon and fairy or pixy however you would like to call it they are both the same."
April looked at Thor confused and said "But i already know that is that all you have been hiding from me?"
"no. . . there is more you have been these all your life."
April sat there and thought of all the times she spent with her family the people who thought she was normal and special and how they never really knew who she was even though she spent 13 years of her life with them...
Thor sighed "Gwendolyn, i know this is hard but think about it you could still be kidnapped and with that creep who is bound to go to hell unless God our father chooses to forgive him."
"Yeah,i guess so. But do i have to hide my wings all the time, isn't there something i can do like make them go back into my skin when i want to?" April asked
"Well there is one way you can do that but you have to master the power to do so."
"Power, ummmm yeah could u tell me a little more about that?" April asked
"Well what u have to do is make a potion and drink it, it will give you the power to turn invisible or any part of your body invisible even your clothing."
"Cool anyways what do i need to do that?"
"Here are the ingredients, 1. Blue rose 2. Black rose 3 Tumbleweed 4 Unicorn Blood 4 Fairy dust 5 Unicorn horn 6 Brownies tail 7 Dragon scale and last but not least a pint of your blood."
"Neat so where do i get this stuff?"
"Anywhere just as you look for the right things and hints, a Blue rose is over in this area but its across the country side along with a black one Tumbleweed are little creatures that you have to catch and well decapitate them Unicorns are in a hidden forest where there is a lot of shadowy areas, Brownies are like cats but they have at least 6 arms and are the size of a toddler but they are found in the mountains, and Dragons are in east near The Himalaya mountains but they are in a mountain next to it called Tien Shan Mountains well you know where to get your blood and fairy dust you come with that naturally."
"Wow that is a lot on information."
"But for now Gwendolyn you must scrunch up your wings and get used to it ok?"
"Al-righty" April said
As they entered Mc Donald's April's senses were stronger she could smell all the grease and the pollution in the air she almost gagged as she entered
she put her hand over her mouth and coughed Thor grabbed her hand and pulled her near a window but that didn't help because April then could smell the gasoline she didn't know what smelled worse "ouch my skin is sensitive be careful" April said "sorry Gwendolyn i didn't know" April looked down and noticed a blue tint was beginning to show through, "We need to get this on take out instead of staying my skin is starting to turn blue." April said "alright Gwendolyn what do u want?" "A double cheese burger and a large Coke along with a large fry." "Geeze what did you get hungry all of a sudden?" Thor said with a chuckle "yeah order it and order yours i'll be outside getting some fresh air."
April quickly left the place and found in her pocket the blue and black rose, "How'd these get here? Well whatever i have them and they are apart of the ingredients so they will have to work." April sat on a bench along side of the road then her skin started to itch when she itched it started to peel off "s**t I'm shedding like a snake..." April looked down and she noticed that her fingers where longer like they had an extra joint April sighed and pulled out a compack mirror and looked at her reflection her face was turning blue and was peeling her eyes were black with a red cross painted in the middle as her puples she also saw a cross going from her bottom eyelid to her cheek area, she looked at her ears pointed like a elves but more fairy like, her hair was short like usual but was green she looked at her neck she could see some of the veins popping out. She looked at her teeth her braces were gone but now her teeth were pointy like a demons. this was horrible how uglier can i get? April though to herself
"Your not ugly..." thor said from behind her
"how did u do that? i didn't know you could read my mind."
"I can read anybodies."
"so what do You think of my new look?"
"I like it I really do it suits you."

"really? i think it makes me ugly."
"Naw makes you hott of course you always were hott."
April blushed at Thor. Thor came up and hugged her tight April hugged back happily and smiled.
"so what now?"
Thor handed April her double cheeseburger,fries and drink. April grabbed them and looked at them and about puked
"this stuff smells disgusting i would rather eat grass and berries."
Thor laughed "you are really hilarious i bought all that stuff for u to turn it down?"
April took a bite and grimaced and took another one "well its better than nothing"
Thor smiled "did you find the roses i put in your pockets?"
April nodded while she took another bite of her cheeseburger and swallowed hard then got up and threw the rest away
"common Thor we have to find the other stuff lets look for Tumbleweed."
Thor replied "Tumble weed are everywhere they are mostly in grasslands they could be over in that one as we speak" Thor pointed to the empty field in from of them, April grabbed his hand and started to run towards the field and a couple Tumbleweed popped out and they were everywhere april looked.
"I CAUGHT ONE!!" APRIL YELLED AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS
"GOOD CATCHING NOW TAKE YOUR POCKET KNIFE AND DECAPITATE IT!"
April grabbed her pocket knife out of her pocket while in one hand she was strangling the strong little creature and took the knife and the little creatures head fell off April picked up its head and body and put it in her trench coat for it to stay.
"now where to?" april asked
"lets go find a forest for unicorn blood."
"ok" april flew over to Thor and they both took off they flew higher than the white fluffy clouds that looked like cotton candy so no mortal could see them. A couple miles later Thor spotted a thin forest and said
"why don't we make camp there maybe we'll see some unicorns but i doubt it the forest is too thin but we could stay there for the night."
April replied "alright then i can get some of the fairy dust i need along with my pint of blood."
April and Thor landed in the forest and got some firewood and made two hammocks. As night came in and daylight left Thor started the fire and April got some of her fairy dust and took out her knife and slit the palm of her hand and got a little bottle out and filled it up with her blood and put a cork in it and put a hole through the cork and put a string on it and wore it around her neck. Thor looked at the fire and zoned out. April went and laid down on her hammock and fell asleep. When April awoke it was pitch black and then a stick cracked she could hear Thor snoring up an earthquake, April got up slowly and looked around and lit a piece of wood and saw a white unicorn standing before her she smiled at how peaceful it looked grazing through the night too bad she had to take some of its blood away. April got out her knife and urged closer towards the unicorn, The unicorn looked at her and hissed its teeth were sharped and pointed its eyes glowing red as if it was telling her that it was eviler than it looked instead of being stupid and getting closer to the beast April threw her knife and hit the unicorn on the knee and the unicorn fell with a whimper but still looked more evil than April ever saw an animal get April approached the unicorn with kindness and got a tiny gar and squeeze the black slimy thick blood into the jar after that April got up and got some bandages out of the first aid kit and wrapped this bandage around the unicorns leg and gave the unicorn some water when April looked at the unicorn and smiled it looked more peaceful now as if it was saying thank you April looked at the list she needed another thing from that unicorn its horn april looked sadly at the animal having to take away its horn but it will grow back. April took her knife and sawed at the horn it took her 30 minutes until the horn was sawed off.
"I am sorry unicorn it will grow back though." april whispered to the unicorn
"Gwendolyn are you up?" a grown came from the darkness
April held up her fire on the stick to lighten the way to see who was talking to her "yeah I'm up thor"
Thor got up his hair all over his head "what are u doing?" he said in a horse voice
"i got the unicorn blood and horn"
"i see so are you ready to go on a journey to the mountains now?
"yes i am Thor lets go!"

April looked around at the night sky and smiled and noticed Thor was looking at her in a loving way. April kept flying blushing and counting the stars, realizing that this is the same night sky everyone looks at and over in Michigan her parents or friends could be looking at it too hoping for a merical that she would come back safely and through Aprils mind she thought of that Kyle kid and if he was alright and if he escaped the guy, or even if he was captured and was anybody really looking for her did anyone really care that she was missing?
"Hey lets pull over down more into the woods." Thor announced
"Alright."
April swooped down in circles and twisting her body gracefully that Thor couldn't help but to smile and rush down to her and catch her. Thor picked April up and hugged her and swung her around April laughed and smiled with the moonlight on Thors face April went and kissed Thor and Thor kissed back.
"You're something you know that?" Thor said blushing
"What's that supposed to mean?" April questioned
"It means that you are special more than you know."
"Psh me being special yeah that'll be the day."
Thor smiled and shook his head "Your special to me."
With one big walk over to April he grabbed her body and motioned her into a dance as Thor smiled and gazed into April's eyes smiling.That night April thought was the best thing that could of happened to her she was in love with Thor and she knew it but she didn't know how to tell him that she thought he loved her too but she didn't want to ask.April and Thor stopped dancing after an hour and daylight was beginning to who through onto the land.
"I'm hitting the hay ok?" Thor said tiredly
"oh ok have fun sleeping."
Thor smiled and did a gun hand motion at her smiling. April laughed and continued to dance by herself. As Thor laid down he had his body on his side turned towards April, her dancing seemed to hypnotize him or put him in a trance watching her spread her wings in and out dancing around the trees soon Thor fell asleep.
April looked at the sky and noticed the sun was high above the horizon and April wrote a note in the sand saying she was going into town and that she will keep her body covered.
As April flew 7 miles away was a small town a nice town few people would be there. As April landed she saw all kinds of things people from this town didn't April saw goblins running around short stubby little creatures and of course some pixies soo tiny though but their wings are like a bugs. As April walked into the town she noticed that was all that was there mystical creatures who have been drove from their real home. April ran into a smallish dragon about the size of a horse.
"Hi." April said the the dragon
"Why hello my lady." said the dragon taking her hand and kissing the back of it.
"Umm ok then." April said
The dragon smiled evilly and said "I know who you are. You are the one called April but you have a soul in your body and the girls souls name is Gwendolyn."
April stood there stunned and wondering how he knew this stuff.
"Hey can I have a dragon scale you see I need it for a potion to make my wings invisible."
The dragon smirked " Yes you may. The dragon took one of his claws and gently dug one under his tight scaly skin and flicked one up in the air and April caught it. Then nodded her head toward the dragon showing him that she is grateful for his act of kindness.Then April looked into the crowd and found a familiar face she knew she had seen it from somewhere before and ran over the the familiar boy.
The boy was talking to a angry troll
"Five gold coins please." The troll said
"But I don't that I only have human money." said the boy
April interrupted and said "I am sorry boy but you look so familiar to me but I can't place where I have seen you before but I know i have seen you."
The boy looked at April with big eyes and tackled her with a hug and said "Oh my God you're April from the bar the girl that was captured if you didn't know I was captured too but I wandered around for soo long that I ended up here."
April looked at him and said "Kyle, how did u recognize me I am in my Demon angelish form..."
Kyle looked at april "What demon angelish form you look normal to me."
April looked in one of the sales windows and saw her reflection she looked normal again. April touched her face the only thing that was different was that her teeth were perfectly alined and her braces were gone. April thought what is happening... then the small dragon who gave her the scale came up and said “The chosen one is among us.” April looked around “ME??!??!?!?!?” April pointed a finger towards herself the dragon smirked and nodded “What do you mean the chosen one?” April asked the dragon cleared his throat and continued “There was a story of long ago that there would be an illness that covered the earth turning humans into monsters by the one named Satan, God unfortunately couldn’t change this either could any of his angels but he had one angel become an human undercover but erased all of her memory so she didn’t know a thing, this angel undercover had a special power that could save the earth from ultimate destruction only that angel posses it. But you April still yet have to learn what that power is.”
Part Two
April laughed “ You’re kidding me right?” the dragon shook its head “No I’m not kidding you I am serious, you are the chosen one you are the only one able to change what they look like to humans.” April looked at Kyle and said “ Come on I’m leaving this crazy joint, oh and hold on tight” as April grabbed Kyle’s hand and spread her wings and flew back to the forrest and found Thor sitting there by the camp fire ashes. “Hey! Where have you been and who the hell is that?” Thor yelled up at April as she began to land “This is my friend Kyle he was the boy who helped me escape from the dude who tried taking me away but apparently that dude got him as well.” “Ah I see...” Thor looked Kyle up and down for a good five minutes.
“Hey you got a problem with what I look like dude?” Kyle said in an angry tone.
“Nah it’s just you’re not a normal human you have the eye of sight you can see mythical creatures unlike other people.”
“Yeah so? Big whoop I can see creatures.”
“Well now it is a big whoop isn’t it you can easily help us gather the ingretients.”
“Ummm....We don’t need our ingretients.” April inturrupted with a quiet voice
“What? Oh....Gwendolyn we need to talk alone in private.” Thor said with a glare at Kyle.
“Oh ok I get the picture I’ll go.” Kyle ran into the woods and wandered around
“Gwendolyn, you figured out that you were the chosen one didn’t you.”
“Yes, and something really bad is going to happen soon because Satan is turning human beings into monsters.”
“It’s not happening soon Gwendolyn... It’s happening right now as we speak.”
“How fast does it spread Thor...or how does it get spread?”
Thor shook his head and said with a lump in his throat “Gwendolyn, it all started when Satan made a demon and well that demon bit a human and that humans eyes went total black with just white for a pupel and their hair goes white they lose weight until they are 90 pounds they are always hungry no matter how much they eat it doesn’t fill their empty stomachs.Their skin turns grey, their teeth grow sharp and jagged their nails sharpen and when the sunlight touches them they burn. The only way it can get spread is if that infected human bites a non-infected human and well the human becomes attomatically infected.”
April looked at Thor with tears welling up in her eyes “what is the percentege of how many people are infected right now...”
Thor shook his head “ Give me one second.” Thor closed his eyes and opened his mouth while this black smoke in the shape of a raven flew up and disappeared then came back 20 seconds.The black smoke flew back into his mouth and he opened his eyes and looked at April “The percentege is 90%” April looked at Thor and said “We need to control this before its too late.”
“But how you haven’t figured out that special power yet.” Thor said looking at her. “Well first we need to let Kyle know about this before he can catch it.” Thor looked at April and said “ April not only humans can catch this animals as well can.”
“You’re kidding me right?” April looked at Thor
“No I’m not kidding this is serious stuff we need to let everyone know about it.”
“But they won’t believe us not even if I show them who I really am they think it will be just props and makeup.”
Thor bit his lower lip and began to think “Well get Kyle we need to inform him about this before he gets bit.”
“Alright.” April walked into the forest and looked for Kyle where she found him sitting in a hot spring. Kyle turned his head and saw April and invited her over with a pat on the surface of the water next to him with a big smile on his face. April sighed and went over to him as he said “Come on get it the water is great!” April answered “Give me a minute.” April chanted some words and soon a big cloud that you couldn’t see through went around her whole body and soon when it disappeared she was in a black bikini top and a black bikini skirt and she sat down in the hot spring she stared at the middle of the water and looked at the bubbles. Kyle put his arm around her and April looked at him with a curious look and started to say something but Kyle skootched over and gave her a kiss. April soon grabbed his body and pulled him underwater and broke free.
“What was that for?” April looked at Kyle in an angry way but soon let her guard down and looked at him curiously
“I don’t know I just thought you liked me like that too.” Kyle answered in a sad shy quiet voice. April sighed “Kyle I have big info I need to tell you it’s very serious.” Kyle looked at April and nodded. April got out of the hot spring feeling violated and held out her hand for Kyle to grab it. Kyle looked at her with big eyes and refused it.
“What’s wrong with you? You’re willing to kiss me but not grab my hand?”
Kyle shook his head and pointed to her reflection in the water. April looked down at her reflection noticing that her skin turned blue again like before and her eyes were black with the red cross for a pupel, her teeth pointy, nails razor sharp her ears to a point like and elves but more fairy like and her wings shown through. April smirked “Now you see my demon angelic form.” Kyle nodded his head in a scared cautious way. April shook her head with a big smile and said “Come on lets go find Thor.” April grabbed Kyle’s hand and yanked him up and ran towards the camp tugging on Kyle trying to make him run faster. April shouted “Come on Kyle hurry your butt up!: Kyle still being pulled along by Aprils hand clenching his hand so tight his whole hand was white.
April kept tugging on Kyle while looking for Thor through the green forest, April thought to herself “ It shouldn’t be hard to find a person in all black in this green place.” As they were running birds, bugs, and animals dashed out of their way. April closed her eyes and stopped while kyle ran into her gently. April didn’t budge when Kyle ran into her. April listened carefully to the sounds, a wind started to pick up and the trees started to roar as the wind brushed up against their leaves. Birds were chirping and squirrels started chattering among each other then it all when silent. April sat there and listend then heard a crack of a stick no closer than 5 feet away. April opened her eyes quickly, to feel Kyle cowarding behind her and ahead of her was a man. He looked over 6 feet tall, brown hair and sky blue eyes, he wasn’t smiling, he had a black leather jacket on with regular jeans and black shoes.
He looked at April with a cold stair. April glared at him with daggers, with her winter like icy blue eyes. The man said in a low voice “Hello there.” April said in a mean voice “Hello.” The man stepped forward cautiously. April looked at him and said “Whats wrong you scared of me?” The man looked at her and said “Of course i would be your a demon.” April was beautiful demon but dangerous, she had a beautiful look but so beautiful it was scary. April smiled showing her razor sharp teeth. The man came forward a few steps and said “I beg your pardon I haven’t intorduced myself yet, I am Calsifire I come from Michigan but on a road trip my motorcycle broke down.” April gazed deeply into his eyes and saw that he didn’t have a heart. April sat there thinking while Kyle introduced himself. April thought “If he had no heart...how does he have a soul?” these thoughts rattled April’s mind. Then she came back to her senses with Calsifire waving his hand back and forth in front of her face. April shook her head showing him she was aware. April spoke in a quiet voice “Do you wish to see my human form?” Calsifire looked at her in shock and spoke “I did not know demons had human forms.”
Aril smirked and her form began to change her teeth went back to human teeth, her ears were no longer pointed, her skin no longer blue and her hair brown with a natural red and blonde tint, she had some freckals starting to show through across her nose and high cheek bones. Calsifire smiled at April and said in a shy voice “You are quite beautiful in you human form.” April smiled a warm smile that seemed to light up her face and said “You see... Calsifire I am a human or I was before I met my angel of death Thor. Before I was going out with a guy named Lance too. And I was kidnapped by a man in a bar and so was Kyle here but Kyle and I got seperated. I soon escaped the man and ended up in the middle of nowhere and then Thor came to my rescue then I called Lance and found out that he was cheating on me with a whore of the name Wycca. Then Thor put this powder over me giving me wings they were supposed to be angel wings but they turned out to be demon wings and my form changed to demon form, But i am the only half demon in this world, half human and half demon and i can change in between forms as i chose.”
Kyle turned his head and looked at April “ April why didn’t you tell me all of this?” April turned her head at Kyle and glared “Let me finish.” then there was an ockward silence an aura in the air and April spoke “You see Thor told me many many years ago before we were even thought of, before our parents, parents were even thought of he was alive and in love with a girl named Gwendolyn, they both soon died at a young age...but Thor went to heaven for a duty to be an angel of death. He did not know what happened to Gwendolyn until the Holy father himself assigned him to me. Thor said i looked like Gwendolyn and even act like her he believes i am Gwendolyns rencarnation. My real name is April yes, but I prefer to be called Gwendolyn now.”
Calsifire looked at April and said “Wherever you are headed may i come along?” April nodded her head and began to walk with Kyle behind her and calsifire on her right then April spoke once again while they were walking “There is a disease going around on earth, for the humans and animals that survive it they trun grey and are always hungry no matter how much they eat it will never relive their hunger, no matter how much they quench their thirst their mouth will always be dry, its like a living hell if you ask me.” Calsifire looked at April and said “so animals can be infected with this disease as well?” April nodded her head and stopped walking and looked around the forrest. Something wasn’t right it seemed as if she ended up going in a circle. Then April took her nails and dug into the bark of a dead tree leaving a cross on it. April turned and looked at Calsifire and kept walking, then April added “Calsifire trust no one, I am letting you know that now. And just so you know not all demons are bad, childern have demons you know. Adults call them imaginary friends.” April paused and continued in a disgusted voice, “They say they are fake but they are oh so real, you just have to know what to look for. All the demons that children have are animals but they shape shift as the child’s personality changes. If the child gets hurt so does the demon if the demon is hurt by another demon or human that can see it the child feels its pain as well. soon as the child gets older it becomes blind of its demon because the adults convince them they aren’t real.” April’s voice softened “As the child becomes blind of the demon, the demon is still there with the child like a gaurdian angel. but then there are evil demons who possess the strong to bring them down, who will take over the destiny of a normal human and change it to make it horrible and laugh at the helpless human as it suffers.” April looked ahead of her to see Thor standing by the fire, April ran to Thor and gave him a hug while Calsifire and Kyle stayed behind. Kyle looked at Calsifire and said “I had an imaginary friend once, it was a bird her name was Pneumbra.” Calsifire nodded and said “My imaginary friend or demon i should say was a cat she truely loved me her name was Rose, to this day if i’m alone on my computer at home and my hand is just hanging there i sometimes feel a small animals soft fur rub up against my hand i think its Rose.” Kyle sat there nodding but not looking at Calsifire but at Thor. Then Kyle said “What do you think Gwendolyn’s imaginary friend or demon is?” Calsifire shook his head and said “I don’t know.” Then April and Thor came walking toward them. Thor did a low bow and Calsifire just nodded. April looked at them then said “Thor this is Calsifire, Calsifire this is Thor.” Thor put his arm around Aprils’ waist and mouthed the words at Calsifire “She’s my girl.” April smiled kindly not knowing about what Thor just did, Calsifire glared at Thor and Kyle nudged Calsifire with his elbow and said in a whisper “Cool down dude.”
Calsifire grunted and went over by the fire and sat on a dead log Thor had put there ahead of time. Kyle looked at Thor with wide eyes and Thor smiled evily at Kyle and Kyle walked over to Calsifire scuffling his feet with every other step then he almost fell flat on his face as he tripped on a tree root sticking out of the ground.
Thor smiled in a pleased way and said in a suductive voice “Gwendolyn can we talk alone without these two?” April nodded and walked farther into the forrest but not far from the camp. Thor pushed April softly against a nearby tree and the next thing April knew was that Thors lips were pressed against hers, they were warm against hers and soft then the next thing she noticed was that Thor had slipped his tongue into her mouth, his long tongue...but she noticed it was forked...which was odd because she never noticed it before when he talked but whatever.
April played with his tongue in her mouth for a bit, then there was a crack and rustle of leaves Thor pulled April closer then April looked to the side of Thors head while he was still making out with her, April saw Calsifire and Kyle looking at them and April pushed away and Calsifire sat there and glared at Thor and said “Are we supposed to be saving the world or are you just going to make out with your girl friend while people are dying as we speak?”
Thor grimaced at him and said “Well I’m sorry that you don’t have a heart, I pity you. Because of that girl Alexandra was a demon and just ate your heart up.”
Calsifire glared at Thor and April felt warm tears well up in her eyes and glared at both of them and pushed Thor out of her way and ran through the forrest, she couldn’t see well because the warm tears blurred her vision, she stumbled a few time then finally stopped she fell down on her knees crying, then she heard one...no two voices calling her “Gwendolyn!” “Gwendolyn!”
April didn’t answer she didn’t feel like it. She quieted her weeping and sat there. Then Thor appeared in front of her and kneeled down next to her and hugged her as she just leaned into his arms. Thor whispered into her ear “Gwendolyn I’m so sorry and I love you.” April nuzzled her face into his chest and he held her there, then Calsifire showed up and Thor glared at him and took one hand and waved it to tell him to go back to camp and Calsifire left and Thor said “Gwendolyn, is Calsifire going to be coming with us on our journey? I don’t really trust him.” April looked up at Thor and said “he is coming and I trust him.”
Thor nodded and said “I’m going to keep my eyes on him thought but we need to get moving as soon as possible, we need to find a blacksmith to make us our weapons, they live in the mountains where all the right ores are. An I assure that satan knows our plans and will wanting to kiss us when he gets his chance.”
April nodded and said “Let’s head back to the camp and pack up.”
Thor got up and picked April like a newly married couple and carried her back to the camp, Calsifire and Kyle had already put the fire out when they arrived and Thor announced “We are leaving so pack only what you need, we are heading to the mountains more south.” Thor put April down and Kyle looked at Thor and asked “ How are we going to get there? As you can already see that Calsifire and I don’t have wings.” Thor smiled and pulled out a small wooden whistle that looked as long as a middle finger and it looked old and worn as the earth itself.
Thor blew into it but no sound came out, then Kyle looked at him as if her were stupid and said “Yeah you blew a whistle... what was that supposed to do? It doesn’t help our wing-” before Kyle could finish there was a vibration or rumbling in the ground and a howl came from one football field away from them and Thor called out “Serverous come boy.” then a large balck wolf head appeared up above the trees, the wolf was pure black darker than the midnight sky its eyes were icy clue like Aprils, it looked bigger than any building April has seen in her life. Thor smirked and commanded “ Lay down boy.” The wolf obayed his command and layed down and Thor said “Everyone aboard!” Kyle got on first by taking hand fulls of the wolfs fur and noticed when he grabbed a piece it moved quickly and he fell back and Thor caught Kyle and said “Be careful he has wings.” Kyle looked at Thor and nodded his head, after Kyle’s second try he finally made it to the top. Then Calsifire did the same thing and made it. Then Thor looked at April and said “Ladies first.” April climed up with her skirt swishing in the wind, and Thor continued behind her looking up her skirt the whowle time, April reached the top and saw the whole forrest before her then Thor came up and said “Serverous, south to the mountains we need to find my old friend at the blacksmith center.” Serverous howled and stood up, down below the trees looked like grass and Serverous spread his wings and did a full speed sprint and jumped into the blue sky. April laid down on the soft fur and stared at the sky and started to doze off. When she woke up the sky was the color of cat vomit. Like the color you get when you feed your cat salmon-flavored cat food for a while, just to get the pinks right.
The clouds did look a bit fishy, rippled into scales by a high-altitude wind. As the light faded, deep blue gaps of night peered through like an upside-down sea, bottomless and cold.
The wind began to blow and April shivered and Calsifire went over to April and said “Here take this you need it more than I do.” He placed his black leather jacket over Aprils shoulders, she put her arms through the sleeve holes the jacket looked 2 times bigger than her and its sleeves hung over 5 inches over her hands. April looked over to find Thor snoring and said “Thank you I appreciate it.” Calsifire smiled and began to walk away and April said “You can sit next to me if you want.” patting a spot of the wolfs fur next to her. Calsifire sat down next to her and she blushed a little and April held out her arms and hugged Calsifire, April whispered into his ear “You aren’t bad looking yourself.” and kissed the side of his cheek. Calsifire smiled and blushed.
After April kissed him on the cheek she asked “So Calsifire since you know a lot about me, why don’t you tell me your story?” The wind Blew across the wolfs fur having it brush up against their legs and April started to fiddle with it while Calsifire was silent then April said again “Well are you going to tell me?” Calsifire looked at Thor and Kyle who were both sleeping and turned his head to look at April and said quietly trying to to wake up the others. “I was going out with a girl named Alexandra but I called her Alex for short, she ended up cheating on me. It was more of an online relationship but we met once in person, she wasn’t that good to me. When she told me she was cheating she said “I found another guy exactly like you and he acts like you and closer to me than you.” I was crushed...” April continued to mess with the wolfs fur. There was a silence in the air, Then April moved closer to Calsifire the sky was now a deep black with the light from the moon and the stars. April put her hand on Calsifire’s shoulder and said “I know how it feels to be cheated on because i also was cheated on by my boyfriend named Lance who cheated on me with some girl named Wycca.”
Calsifire slowly put his arm around Aprils shoulder and hand her lean against him, April cautiously put her head on his shoulder that was so warm and so soft, Calsifire started to lay his head on top of hers and April started to fall asleep it seemed if a black curtain was slowly lowering itself in front of her eyes then finally blacking her vision.
“There was something cooking it smelled like...eggs? No pancakes, maybe waffles.” April opened her eyes removing the black curtain to find herself still on the wolf but nobody else was on the wolf. She sat up to see that the wolf had landed in the mountains and she stood up and stumbled off the wolf landing on her back.
April groaned and Thor stood before her and helped her up. Thor smiled and said “Morning sleeping beauty.”
